Slam Dunkz: What's an ass-shark? I think that's when you run up behind a woman walking down a public street, pull her skirt down and run away really fast. |

| Revek They should have shot jaws in florida. |

| Lor M. Ipsum asciibaron: people in the south sound dumb. This is roughly half the reason I left Florida. Even when someone says something half-worth hearing, it still sounds like a disgrace to spoken language. |

Red drum and black drum. Used to catch them all the time as a kid. Awesome fish. /never see them anymore :( //sheep's head too |
||
| Maud Dib Bull shark, from the looks of it. Once you're in the water over your knees, you're in the food chain. Never get out of the boat. |

This was no boat accident. |

I'll find him for three, but I'll catch him, and kill him, for ten. |

| adamsvt The house belongs to my family (we put it up for rent over the summer so it's not my family in the footage). When my wife saw the video on the news last night she called me at work, freaking out. We've gone swimming in that exact spot more times than I can even think to remember. We won't be swimming there at high tide anymore!! |

Nice video. I can't say I'd sound too intelligent if that just happened a few feet from my face either. |

A tip to anyone in a boat: sharks call dibs. Do not contest them this fact, for they will call dibs on you as well. |

Im thinking thats a Bull shark, Funny thing about them is that they can live in fresh water too, have been spotted as far as the Ohio River and love to hang out in shallow parts of the water to feed. Plus they have been known to kill many a human. So think about that next time your wading in the water. Sweet dreams |

I don't know where that video was shot but could easily be down the road from my camp. Guess all new camps on the marsh look about the same. We fish off of a similar porch all the time. |

I just got back from the beach where I spent the day floating around in 6-8ft murky water. I don't think I'll ever be able to do that again. Thanks, Fark. |

That's part of the "fun" of surfing for me: knowing the whole time I'm sitting in the line-up that there might a shark looking longingly at my delicious legs. |
