Perhaps Nancy Grace should do a story about this monster... |
| AdolfOliverPanties I love going to do a GIS for an image and deciding on one and then noticing it is from a previous Fark thread. Such is the case with this one: |
| vpb So she is now a serial killer? |
| DeltaPunch
"Why no 'murder one?'" she demanded. I can't believe I'm defending someone who got drunk and accidentally passed out on her baby, but first degree murder is any murder that is willful and premeditated. And this Nancy b*tch was actually a lawyer, right? |
| Gecko Gingrich DeltaPunch: And this Nancy b*tch was actually a lawyer, right? Prosecutor. That should tell you her mindset. |
| Gecko Gingrich Oh, and this: The Supreme Court of Georgia has twice commented on Grace's conduct as a prosecutor. First, in a 1994 heroin drug trafficking case, Bell v. State, the Court declared a mistrial, saying that Grace had "exceeded the wide latitude of closing argument" by drawing comparisons to unrelated murder and rape cases. In 1997, the court was more severe, overturning the murder-arson conviction of businessman W. W. Carr in the death of his wife. While the court said its reversal was not due to these transgressions, since the case had turned primarily on circumstantial evidence, it nevertheless concluded "the conduct of the prosecuting attorney in this case demonstrated her disregard of the notions of due process and fairness, and was inexcusable." Carr was freed in 2004 when The Georgia Supreme Court ruled unanimously that Fulton County had waited too long to retry him, thereby unfairly prejudicing his right to a fair trial. Despite upholding the conviction she sought, a panel of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals wrote in a 2005 opinion that Grace "played fast and loose" with her ethical duties and failed to "fulfill her responsibilities" as a prosecutor in the 1990 triple murder trial of Herbert Connell Stephens. The court agreed that it was "difficult to conclude that Grace did not knowingly use ... [apparently false] testimony" from a detective that there were no other suspects, despite the existence of outstanding arrest warrants for other men. |

Yes, a former state prosecutor, albeit one who apparently never heard of the Brady Rule and was repeatedly rebuked for her actions by trial and appellate court judges |

| brap What a disgusting grub of a grief parasite. I'm glad I've never accidentally tuned into watch this shrieking hag. |
| Adjective Bird Whiskey Jesus that c*nt needs off of TV. I can't stand her. |
| Marcus Aurelius Can we at least all agree that anyone that watches Nancy Grace on a regular basis needs to be rounded up and sent to a re-education camp? |
| netizencain I've never watched her show but let's be honest... the woman that got drunk and killed her baby is the real monster. Thank god she can't breed anymore. |
| give me doughnuts
Three more and she makes "Ace." Maybe she should stencil some silhouettes on her fender. |
| Weaver95 vpb: So she is now a serial killer? nah, just a hellknight and reaper of souls. basically middle management for the outer darkness. |

A few weeks later, at 4 a.m. on July 2, after a night of drinking with friends, Toni Medrano went to her mother's house and set herself on fire. Are you farking kidding me? Smothering your own newborn in a drunken stupor wasn't enough to make you think "Hmm, maybe I can't handle this heavy responsibility of losing self-awareness and control"? Holy christ. I'm not really sad to hear of her fate. Some friends she's got there, too. "Hey, she just killed her kid from drunkenness right? HELL YEAH, buy her another shot!" Jeeeez. |

Eh, yes and no. While being drunk isn't an excuse (and no court accepts it as one), it also suggests that the person is only a "monster" when completely out of control of her faculties. Or, you know, passed out. Was it douchetastic of her to be that loaded around a child? Yes. But I think "monster" is reserved for women who willfully kill their children. Parents put their kids in extreme danger all the damn time. Some are merely more socially palatable than others, like strapping your 7 year-old to the back of a motorcycle. That's dangerous as hell, too, but no one is calling that parent a "monster." Hell, people often think it's adorable. At any rate, none of that matters now. But I think we all agree that Nancy Grace is nothing short of a radioactive c*nt spreading hysteria for profit. |

| coco ebert Nancy Grace is horrible and I'm sure her on-air excoriation of the woman didn't help, but could it not be that the woman was just so grief-stricken over, you know, farking killing her newborn, that she committed suicide? |
| MaudlinMutantMollusk Nancy Grace should suffer a death by hounds |

I'm sure nancy grace hounding her didn't help the victim's mental state any... |
| Weaver95 MaudlinMutantMollusk: Nancy Grace should suffer a death by hounds actually, I think the worst thing you could do to Nancy Grace is take her off the air. she strikes me as the sort of person who NEEDS attention. even negative attention. without something to fill that gaping hole in her spirit where her soul used to be, she'll turn on herself and become very self destructive. want to destroy Nancy Grace? stop paying attention to her. the end result will be all but inevitable. |

| gilgigamesh netizencain: I've never watched her show but let's be honest... the woman that got drunk and killed her baby is the real monster. Thank god she can't breed anymore. That she was drunk is a bit of a red herring. Infant deaths caused by suffocation when sleeping with an adult has become something of a minor epidemic, to the point that the CDC has issued warnings about it. If Nancy Grace had any sense of decency or public responsibility, she would have used this tragedy as an opportunity to educate the public about this danger, rather than as a witch trial. But we all know that Nancy Grace is nothing more than an amoral, narcissistic sociopath with a bully pulpit, and she doesn't care one bit about whether her actions hurt or help anyone but herself. |
| FriarReb98 netizencain: I've never watched her show but let's be honest... the woman that got drunk and killed her baby is the real monster. Thank god she can't breed anymore. Possibly. But Nancy Grace tends to make normal criminals sound like Hitler, and people like her second kill sound like they make Satan their biatch on a regular basis. She's a farking harpie, a failed prosecutor who spent most of her time in court getting yelled at, and the face of horrible, horrible face of shrieking, fact-averring television personalities. She has no business being called an expert in anything except pain, suffering and general horrible judgement. |

Sanctioned more than once for minor things like withholding potentially exculpatory evidence from the defense. gilgigamesh: But we all know that Nancy Grace is nothing more than an amoral, narcissistic sociopath with a bully pulpit, and she doesn't care one bit about whether her actions hurt or help anyone but herself. | Ghastly People in fat houses shouldn't throw scones. |
| Triumph So should Taaka Vodka thank Nancy for the free advertising or sue her for defamation? |
| Diogenes In an era where bullying has become a major concern, they give this woman her own show. |
| TheBeastOfYuccaFlats I wonder if this woman made a sex tape, too. |

| gilgigamesh I realized Nancy Grace is a completely horrible troll of a human being during the Duke Lacrosse case. After months of haranguing and publicly convicting the defendants in that case, the charges were dropped, Nifong was disbarred, and the accuser completely and thoroughly discredited. So once Nancy Grace was proven flat out wrong, she chickened out of even doing her show rather than admit it. She just turned her show over to a scrub when the charges were dropped, then came back once the heat blew over. Effing coward. |

For what it's worth she also killed my love of pepperoni nipples. |

Sounds like Nancy Grace did the world a favor. This women was a waste of resources. Glad she is dead. |
| KingoftheCheese Man...I hope her constant attacks don't drive Casey Anthony to start doing porn... |

FTA "doused herself in a flammable liquid"... Vodak is flammable, right? |
| puffy999 At least, in this case, the woman was proven to have killed her child and there was a body and the whole nine yards. The last time she did this, Nancy pretty much destroyed any hope of closing the case. Not because the dead mother wasn't guilty, but because she cannot provide any information regarding the whereabouts of the child's body. |

I believe the legal term for someone like Nancy Grace is "toxic thunderc*nt". |

| Triumph the lord god: Sounds like Nancy Grace did the world a favor. This women was a waste of resources. Glad she is dead. I've never seen a Fark name and a comment come together quite like that before. |

"SHE'S GUILTY!" "Uh, Nancy, you might wanna tone down what you say, you might upse--" "GUILTY VODKA MOM IS GUILTY!" "Uh, Nancy, I regret to inform you that this "Vodka Mom" as you dubbed her is dead." "..." "...DEAD AND GUILTY!" |
| Jumpin Jbot
Skr: FTA "doused herself in a flammable liquid"... Vodak is flammable, right? Depends. Definitely if she was drinking one of the super-cheap high-proof vodkas. Back in college, I used to drink Proof 110 Vodka. I'm not kidding, that was the actual name. Proof 110. /want to guess how much proof it was? |

Gecko Gingrich: DeltaPunch: And this Nancy b*tch was actually a lawyer, right? Prosecutor. That should tell you her mindset. Eh, Most prosecutors don't have her mindset. If they did, they'd have their own shows, too. |

See, Ladies...? Sometimes it IS okay to call a woman a kunt! |
| you are a puppet
Ultimately it's also her fault Casey Anthony was acquitted. Maybe if prosecutors weren't hounded into pressing charges they can't support, people might be convicted of the crimes they can actually be found guilty of beyond a reasonable doubt |

Nancy Grace rocks... In fact, I think I'll watch her tonight and see if she comments on this event. Blah, blah, blah... I like her, so what? |

| LlamaGirl Nancy Grace is a coontsmear. The smelly kind. |

Elect me president, and I'll get her taken off the air and put behind a McDonald's counter where she belongs. Same goes for everyone involved with Jersey Shore. |

Meh. Perhaps mockery unto self-destruction should become the norm for negligent baby-killers. |

She was pretty funny during a few episodes of Raising Hope last season. |
