I was thinking he looked like he was guarding her or her dreams. I had been sitting with her in the chair watching baby cartoons with her and giving Ollie neck rubs until she fell asleep. When I got up, careful not to disturb her too much, that was the result.

YAY ! TIS CATURDAY !! And greetings to all.... kittens have their eyes open most of the way.. one of them tried to hiss when I picked it up.. still very unsteady on their feet... reminds me of me after one beer.... balance goes kaput ! I will get some pics out this weekend.. still trying to figure out a name for mammacat, can't name the kittens yet.. too early.. right now it would be wobble 1 & 2.. mammacat's tail does not go straight up.. it is normally just hanging down, when I pet her, it makes a perfect upside down u.. she does like laps though.. will sit but won't lay down.. I am keeping my vet appraised of progress.. I will probably take them all to see her in 2-3 weeks.... and hoping that the daddy doesn't have any 'issues'.. the crew has been fed, time to hit the hay..

She got her very first hair cut (all right, a bang trim, the back of her hair is just fine) last Sunday. As for sleeping, I wish she would do more of it. She will be a year and a half in mid-August and she is already sleeping in her toddler bed. Which means she decided 6:30am was play time today.

I hd book club last night and the couple that hosted got a litter of 4 foster kittens 2 weeks ago. They are about 5-6 weeks old now and getting over an URI that almost killed 2 of them. There are 2 grey with white stockings, an orange tabby, and an orange and grey calico. They were the hit of the night and

OMG ....... I WANT A KITTEN SO BAD



On a different note, my sweet Mandu turned 8 on Wednesday

When did that happen?

An ounce/inch at a time between then and now. That's when it happened. Hard to believe she has been walking almost six months now. She started a bit before she turned one.
