| Jamdug! Will it have legroom for an adult human over the height of 3.5 ft? |
||
| xanadian The pleasing fees I'm usually assessed are $100 or more per hour. :-/ |
||
| ekdikeo4 I could charge a $19 pleasing fee... o.O |

Jamdug!: Will it have legroom for an adult human over the height of 3.5 ft? "customer pleasing," equipped with bigger bins, better lighting, a more open and modern feel and Wifi. If it had more legroom, im pretty sure it would be in that sentence. Since it isnt, and this is an airline, I am assuming less. |

If 'pleasing' fees are only $19 then I might have to consider flying more often. |

I just can't walk away empty handed. |

| ZAZ more fuel efficient and reliable and "customer pleasing," equipped with bigger bins, better lighting, a more open and modern feel and Wifi. Bigger bins to collect more carryon fees and wifi to collect more hotspot access fees. So the headline seems to be right on. |

| Pants full of macaroni!!
This "pleasing fee" - does that include a happy ending? |

You can charter a Boeing Business Jet that will accomodate up to 140 people for about $6000 per flight hour. Shave that down to 100 people and you fly for $60 an hour per person. Without baggage fees, without the TSA molestation, without the seats built for Vietnamese amemia patients, and without supporting the farce which commercial air travel has become. Just sayin'. |

Oh, and did I mention you can bring your own beer and drink the whole way? |

Finding this hard to believe, unless it doesn't account for the crew and fuel. |

OK, so punching in rough numbers, a non-stop one way flight from LA to NY would cost each person $500. The cheapest non-stop one way I found commercially is $575. However, I can get commercial non-stop round trip (leaving today and coming back a week from today) for $840. Adding in a $50 baggage fee each way brings it up to $940. Your way would be $1000. A difference of +$60. I guess it comes down to whether you are willing to pay a little extra to not have to deal with the TSA and to have a little more room, and the beer of course. But then you have to manage to find 100 people who want to go where you are going at the same time you want to go there, as well as come back when you want to come back. Easy enough I suppose in a big city, or if you have a large family all going on a trip together, etc. but it still isn't very practical otherwise. |

| ha-ha-guy Last time I was on a United flight they got onto the runway at Shanghai Pudong and announced "Oh umh we forgot to check the radar, we have to go back". Flight got in three hours late and an entire 777 load of people missed connections. fark United. /ANA, Vietnam Air, and Singapore Airlines for Customer Service //Lufthansa for ruthless Germany efficiency |

Prices were quoted to me by ElleJet Charter service. I was pretty surprised myself. Not practical for individuals, but for businesses who have regular flight travel needs it might be very beneficial (as well as more pleasant for your employees) to band together and go with charter flights rather than commercial. |

| Kuroshin How much do I have to pay to avoid the TSA mongoloids? That'd please me. |

Jamdug!: Will it have legroom for an adult human over the height of 3.5 ft? Depends on the carrier. Aircraft seats are attached to the floor using a rail system, so a carrier can add or remove rows during any maintenance window. The number of rows determines the amount of legroom you get. One thing I've heard about the new 737s is that they made the airframe thinner, so the interior diameter of the cabin is larger. That should allow for an extra inch of width to a coach seat. It isn't much, but it is nothing to sneeze at. |
