Walker didn't want it to blow up in his face like it did in Ohio. Had Walker tried to shove a consistent bill, he'd have to make the same sheepish apology for trying the bill.

Thankfully for my home state, Kasich had the arrogance to try. The result was a repealed bill, a governor stripped of his ALEC mandate to reign, and a state that has prospered in ways that Walker couldn't ever imagine.

Fair enough r/e infant mortality, although the link provided does not provide an amended ranking based on harmozined statisticals - just says the US would rank better than it does. Kind of weak to say something would have 'x' impact and then not provide 'x'. Or did I miss a link to new rankings?
