The National Weather Service has confirmed that Roanoke's high temperature on Friday was 104 degrees, 1 degree hotter than what had previously been reported.

That ties Friday with June 30, 1936, for hottest June temperature on record. It is also only 1 degree cooler than Roanoke's all-time record high temperature of 105, set on July 10, 1936, Aug. 5, 1930 and Aug. 21, 1983.

"It was warm out"

They were waiting for Obama to turn it into wine.

I've never understood this particular narrative that the Weekly Standard seems to be pushing here.

"Obama's a celebrity! People who aren't interested in politics show up to his speeches, and get excited! So vote Republican!"

The first time I smelled Mitt Romney's Aqua Velva I jizzed in my pants and Newt Gingrich caught me as I fell in his tender, soft embrace. Sarah Palin then whispers in my ear, "happens to me all the time." It was beautiful.

I voted for Obama once and I'm going to do it again.

But if the heat index is over 110 he can send me his Secret Kenyan Mind Control Rays through the mail. At that temperature you'd have a hard time getting me to go to "Kate Beckinsale's 'How to Change Bikinis' - A Hands-On Seminar" even if I had a sash on reading Chief Judge.

Would that be from

c. being bored to near death and just falling asleep
d. over emotion from suddenly realizing they are stuck with Romney

i'm sorry if you find the colloquial term "chick" offensive but in my opinion it's merely the counterpart to the word dude.

the claim that i am misogynistic or hateful is completely unsubstantiated and unfounded. at worst i'm just ignorant.

but based on the Palin quip i suspect that this is an issue of partisan bias rather than championing the plight of women.
