boot him, ditch c-crest, then burn it to the ground. nothing of value will have been lost |
||
| sure haven't
Seacrest is a fantastic host, he needs to move on to x-factor or something. Randy Jackson has been the useless vanilla talking head of no value since day 1. I agree the show should be cancelled, but it won't be, as it still makes Fox money. Randy could have left in the middle of any season, and it wouldn't have mattered, he's the very definition of bland. Afraid to say anything even remotely unpopular. That and he looks like a lesbian. Where's that list of guys who look like lesbians? |

People still watch this shiat? |

| Heamer sure haven't: as it still makes Fox money. This is the part that trips me out. I can't believe that the popularity of American Idol has waned so little in the last few years. |

| FriarReb98 sure haven't: I agree the show should be cancelled, but it won't be, as it still makes Fox money. But will it with three new hosts that no one has any connection to? Oh wait, this is Fox. Of course they'll keep the show on, because it's unpopular. |

FriarReb98: But will it with three new hosts that no one has any connection to? The biggest freaking expenditure was paying Simon Cowell $30m a year. The productions costs for the show are damn near zero. Judges salaries. Plane tickets to Hollywood for a few dozen people. Some video costs for taping the segments. Boom. American Idol. Hell, they can probably cover it with the coca-cola cups on the judges desks. The ratings can continue to fall and they'll still be able to cover it. |

| texdent AI is a guilty pleasure of mine, but I think it's time to let it go. |

Really, it requires no thought, appeals to prurient emotionalism, and allows its sad ass viewers to feel like they are a part of "something" with little to no effort. Not surprising why it is so popular in America. |

Look dawg, for you for me, it just wasn't the right judge choice, you know? |
||
| Cargo Is American Asshole where the word "pitchy" comes from? I've been hearing this word from a lot of my students in theatre classes and I keep telling them to STFU, that no such word exists, and it makes no sense (how can you be too on pitch?). The word is "sharp." If someone is below the pitch, they're flat; if they're above the pitch, they're sharp. If someone needs to be punched in the throat, they're pitchy. At least now I know where it comes from. F*ck Randy Jackson. F*ck American Idol. And f*ck you. /seriously, though, "pitchy"? //Jeezis H. Keericed |

Simon was the only judge on the show who was worth anything. Back when they had the original 3 judges, Paula would give you a pass if you were nice, Randy would give you a pass if you were black, but Simon only gave you a pass if you could actually sing. |
