Presently, the new app features two NASA missions, the Curiosity rover...and the twin GRAIL spacecraft, Ebb and Flow, currently orbiting the moon.

For extra difficulty, they should include the Mars Polar Lander mission and let you slam it into the martian soil at several hundred miles per hour.

Don't people already know how to let people experience spacecraft manipulation? Seems to me it would be even easier than learning how to prevent people from experiencing spacecraft manipulation.

...to let people learn how to let people experience...

Once again, please - this time with coherence.

Nothing better than Jeb smiling ear to ear as he slams into the Muns surface at about 500m/s

Has anyone actually downloaded this? It's useless. All I get is my camera turned on with some buttons for settings that don't do anything.

FloydA was commenting on the original headline that read, in part ...to let people learn how to let people experience...

He's not necessarily drinking this early in the day.

I've actually been practicing on this non-stop, in the hopes that I'll be recruited to fight against Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada.

Many, and I do mean 'many', years ago NASA had display at mall that included a Shuttle simulator that allowed you to fly it in and land it.

Any one else ever seen this or better yet do any of you know of a game of the same?

Yes, m,y uncle was one of the eggheads that developed the computers on the shuttle. They had just finished the simulator in question when we came to visit him once. I got to fly it before the astronauts did!

/crashed both times.... that thing really is like trying to land a rock...
