Kid must be white or they'd have tasered him and locked him up by now.

Guns only kill people if the Obama administration provided them.

Once again, why do people with toddlers have loaded guns within reach??? Does it make a guy feel more manly to have loaded guns where kids can get to them easily? I just don't get it.

Hmmm. Now i'm not saying these folks are lying, but it's not unheard of in these situations to lay the blame on folks who are more likely to be found not culpable, for instance a 3 year old. Be a pretty precocious three year old that's able to handle and discharge a firearm.

People who leave loaded guns laying around where a 3 year old can get his hands on it kill people. In this case, this person appears to have killed himself.

Well if the deceased is the careless idiot who left the gun where a toddler could find it I'm glad it was him rather than the child hurting himself.

Another formerly law abiding, responsible gun owner.

Probably the same reason why people with toddlers leave said toddlers in the car in the summertime and cook them alive.

Or maybe it's the same reason people leave their toddlers unsupervised around a swimming pool resulting in the little tykes drowning.

/shrug

People can be farking stupid. Fark proves that EVERY single day.

Darwinism in action. If you're stupid enough to leave a loaded gun lying around where a child can get to it, you deserve to die.

This wouldn't have happened if the father had a gun to defend himself.

Is it even possible for a 3 year old to pull the trigger and point the gun at the same time? Unless the gun had a hair trigger, I just don't see it happening...

You do realize that a gun is always pointed at something, right?

I don't know him personally but I see his shoe stores in strip malls all the time. It's a sort of bond.

Man, what an awesome, unsettling film.

The article says he and his entire family were there for remodeling work, but at the time he was watching TV. Methinks meth.

Well the kid won't remember the incident and hopefully he will be rightfully convinced that it is not his fault, it is the person who left the gun where he could find it.

An Indiana father watching television with his children...

This wouldn't have happened if they'd stayed in New Delhi. "Land of Opportunity," indeed.
