| Producers of "Iron Man 3" swear they're not trying to outdo "The Avengers", but probably wouldn't be unhappy if their box office gave The Avengers "an unholy ass-kicking" |

| Beaver1224 Producers: "It will. But we're not setting that goal." |

| Rev. Skarekroe "There's never been a movie like this, where your lead guy is in a relationship, with someone to go home to", he said. Actually, that was kind of a point of pride for the people that made the last couple of Mummy movies, that Brenden Frasier's character was in a stable relationship with the heroine from the first film. I didn't like those movies, but credit where credit is due. |

Captain Steroid: NeoCortex42: I'm sure Iron Man 3 will do fine. What I'm not looking forward to is that Winter Soldier was announced. I was kinda hoping for Baron Zemo, myself. But hey, what can you do? He could still be involved. I'm thinking it'll be a mix of 40s and modern. Cap will run into Zemo while on a mission for Shield, he's confused, which gives the Winter Soldier time to swing in and attack Cap with Zemo escaping. Then flashback to the years they skipped in the first film, with Bucky and Cap fighting Zemo, who they eventually defeat. Fast forward back to the present and Cap then tracks down Zemo and WS, only to discover the Russian lab where they brainwashed Bucky. They could have Zemo also be part of the Russian program, to keep the character the same instead of going with the Zemo jr. route. Tie the whole thing to the experiments that Zola was doing on Bucky before Cap rescued him. Put it all together, throw in an older Peggy Carter and her grand daughter Sharon, and you've got a cross-generational love story, betrayal by a close friend, and a resurrected evil nemesis. Heck I can see them losing the Russian element all together and just have Hydra responsible. They've been in hiding since WWII, but with Cap back, they unfreeze Bucky and Zemo and set them loose on the modern world. /2 cents |

This; listen, nothing could come close to the eternal awesomeness that was "Iron Man." Jon Favreau would've had to channel his inner Francis Ford Coppola to do that. Besides, the scene in the Senate was epic pwnage and lulzworthy. |

Count me in on that...I don't get the hate at all...would love to see some extended cut someday...according to Rourke, a lot of Vanko's good stuff hit the proverbial editing room floor Of course, I really liked ST:ENT, so in this geekverse of fark commenters, I'm considered defective. |

Link Good god that was annoying, and he apparently didn't stay through the credits of Iron Man 1, or never heard anyone talk about how there was something at the end. He may have had some good points but wow. |

Iron Man: Iron Man battles another Iron Man Iron Man 2: Iron Man battles another Iron Man with a whip zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz It's a good thing you don't read comics, Iron Man in particular, because the whole "Armor Wars" thing was a pretty major part of Iron Man's history, and I'd say they covered it pretty well in the first two movies. Stark creates Iron Man, other similarly gifted but nefariously-minded people around the world create their own "Iron Man" armors and Tony makes it a point to stop them. What's wrong with this again? |

The most important part about the armor wars was the fact that he only went after armor based on his technology. Negator packs didn't work on other stuff. |

Like Stane's Iron Monger from Iron Man, and Ivan Vanko's Armor in Iron Man 2. It was very much based off of Starks designs, so yeah, I'd say the movies are doing a somewhat decent job of covering that material. I'm excited to see what direction they take the extremis storyline in for Iron Man 3. |

That's the thing with Iron Man; he's his own worst enemy. Fights his own tech, and his own demons. |
