Unfortunately, the resin used in 3D printing doesn't quite resist the temperatures in the combustion chambers and first stages of the turbine.

Its amazing how somethings whose functioning (in principal) is so very simple can be so complex.

The balance of those blades must be near perfect, they turn very high RPM and any imbalance would be quite destructive.

The first planes I flew that had RR engines were Vickers Viscounts and Vickers Vanguards....Air Canada in the mid-60s.
