*Pffft* Some "journalist". He didn't explain to the reader that potatoes are a starchy edible tuber of a cultivated plant, Solanum tuberosum, of the nightshade family or that salt is a crystalline ionic compound of sodium chloride, NaCl, occurring as a mineral.

He should also explain that ketchup is a tomato-based condiment that is usually supposed to be enjoyed with a well done steak at a fine dining establishment.
