| vernonFL I don't understand how they could not make money from selling the world's most well known and popular carbonated sugar water drink at 300% markups. |

Coca-cola is a dividend stock, not a big growth stock. At least it shouldn't be. The biggest problem with modern corporations is the over-focus on constant growth. Nobody wants to just generate a steady profit and pay out to investors. |

A mature company in a very saturated market sector doesn't have huge growth year over year? the horror. They are still making giant buckets of money, I don't see why people flip out about "low growth" I swear they would rather be invested in a company that went from sales of 2$ to 10$ than one that went from 2Billion to 2.1Billion. |

If someone told me that the company I start tomorrow will one day make $2 billion in a quarter and that would be a BAD thing, I would first punch them in the face for the insult, then kick them so they stay down while I steal their time machine. //And that is how I came to found the Coca Cola company |

It is MY fault.. yes, I freely admit it... I used to buy and drink so much coca cola that my friends would just stare at the empties in my place (MI has a 10 cent refund for returns) and then after becoming diabetic I had to switch to Diet Coke.. and that is where my love with coke ended.. I found that it just didn't have the same effect that the REAL coke had and that for a LOT less I could just get the generic versions at the dollar store and it wouldn't matter as long as my caffine was maintained.. so there you have it.. |

I haven't had caffeine in two weeks, it was two weeks before that one too. I never meant to kick the soda out of my life, it just happened. /still haven't lost any weight //probably shouldn't have replaced soda with beer |

Fastest way to make it go flat is to pour sugar on it. |
