Oh I hope they have those 30 or so girls who play the snippy best friend! |

You forgot stiffler's mom. That's the only one I recognized. |

*checks list* Oh good, another of -these- lists. No write ups. No "you've seen her in". Nothing. Just. Pictures. And they are even "that girls". Stifler's mom?? Christine Baranski?? And a bunch of unknowns. Who the f*ck writes this garbage? Absolutely thrilling content. |

Amy Ryan was in a film called The Missing Person. It was a loving pastische of old films noirs, though it wasn't absolutely great. When we watched it the first time, my wife and I were both happy to see "that chick from The Wire." |

Wow. They managed to find and use the most unflattering photo of Marcia Gay Harden. |

Fano: Parker Posey, from every indie movie of the 90s? DNRTFA No, she's an actual indie star. Ask Hal Hartley and Christopher Guest. |
||
| Ctrl-Alt-Del An OK list, but Marcia Gay Harden? Seriously? I mean, she may not get a lot of leading roles, but but did she suddenly become less famous when I wasn't looking? I mean, holy hell, she's won an Academy Award and was nominated for a second. |

| awfulperson This list shares the same weakness as the list of male actors--too many well-known names. For a character actor to BE a character actor, he/she has to be a familiar face, having appeared in a MYRIAD of TV/movie projects, without the credit. They should also NOT be bombshells, or particularly young. Belong on the list (even if deceased, I suppose): Kathryn Joosten Wendy Crewson Fionnula Flanagan Cherry Jones Anna Deavere Smith Margo Martindale Women who AT ONE TIME might have belonged on the list, but got too famous: Alfre Woodard Jennifer Coolidge CCH Pounder Patricia Clarkson Edie McClurg Allison Janney |

Taking the thing of multiple roles on a given show back to Jeanette Goldstein: Unlike a lot of series that frequently re-cycle the same actors in new roles (anything by Dick Wolf, anything by Jack Webb, Doctor Who, Quincy in which both of Quincy's wives were portrayed by the same actress, et al.), ER had a policy of not re-using actors in new roles, although the producers made a couple of exceptions. They didn't make an exception for Goldstein; they didn't recognise her the second time they cast her. |
