There's where you hope it does enough damage to total the car... because you KNOW you'll never get all the shiat smell out of the interior.

Well the gas tank broke open and then caught fire as the car goes off screen. So .. ya.. its a total loss.

That's the second video that's been posted here where a vehicle was hit by a manhole cover. Is this one of the things that you just get use to?

I've found that if you click the seek bar just right you get this beautiful

boom BOOM boom urk-URK-urkurk-AAAAH boom BOOM boom urk-URK-urkurk-AAAAH...

very Disney.

truly strange that the audio matches the video on screen exactly... clearly the video was edited instead of normal.

That flash was the car rotating 90°right and shining it's headlights through the dust kicked up. You can see the headlights rotating into position right before it goes out of frame, and there is NO illumination in the side/windows of the reflective black car behind it to indicate a fire.

To me it looks more like a shoddy manhole that wasn't seated correctly, and the cars rear tire actually fell into the manhole, then at high speed the suspension springs launch the rear of the car up.

I'm also curious of the speed required for a ...let's say, 20lb manhole cover...to lift the entire rear of a 2-4,000lb vehicle that high off the ground. When I imagine it, the manhole would pretty much turn the rear of the car to swiss cheese.
