I agree. Around the time people were flailing and looking at Trump I'd imagine they would have flocked over to Pawlenty, and as he wasn't crazy, odds are they could have stayed with him. He could have worn sweatervests and gotten the attention. Sure his campaign would have been running on fumes for a month or so... but money would flow in and he could staff up late.

OK, this is as a good a place as any to ask: When did we start using the word surrogate? I don't remember using it last election, now I hear it every 5 minutes. I feel like this word is to MSNBC (or nbcnews now) as czar was to Foxnews.

Just because you have learned a new word and then start seeing it being used often doesn't mean that it was not in common use before. E.g "Bush surrogate", "Nixon surrogate"

I don't know. I think Pawlenty would have split the "any boring white guy" vote wtih romney and neither would have been able to get the needed delegates.

Funny thing is, Sununu's about the sharpest tool Romney's got but comes off as a hateful dick. Dialed back he'd be an asset but as is he's just playing to the base.

They don't think he is American, they don't think he is Christian, they don't think he is a Capitalist. They do think he is snobby, stupid, a Socialist, a Communist and a Fascist. They think he destroys business, has caused massive unemployment and hates the middle and upper class. They think that he wants to see the not only the downfall of the United States but wants rights stripped from her citizens and then wants to watch Americans suffer and die.

I mean, honestly, the Devil isn't even displayed as poorly as President Obama. What else can they call the guy? A "doody-head"?

I, for one, would love to see one of these dumbshiats really try and tear into his daughters. Nothing would swing the American people faster then some angry jerk-off talking shiat about little Sasha and Malia. And after what the President has done in tracking down top terrorists .... Those responsible for sacking the surrogate have been sacked. The surrogate has been completed in an entirely different style at great expense and at the last minute.
