| rikdanger The rabbit that was killed by the dog was named "Mr. Furious." The rabbit that was NOT killed was named "Stew". That's...I just...hmmm. |
||
| kingoomieiii For a split second I thought this was "Man has sex with decaying dog outside preschool" part deux. I'm so glad I'm wrong. |

Hey Rocky! Want to see me pull a rabbit out of my hat? Nothing up my sleeve... |

Gonna hug my bunny now, but come on, lady: The mastiff that strayed into her garden had been caught previously at the home trying to break into the cage. /facepalm |
||
| brantgoose Oops! Wrong hat! |

I first read that as 'rabbi'. |

The mastiff that strayed into her garden had been caught previously at the home trying to break into the cage "I am so upset about the whole thing." but not enough to do anything about ensuring the rabbits' safety. Fano Well, they should have let him finish his song. Classically awesome. |

I'm not seeing the Sad tag fitting this. The Amusing tag seems like a good match. Her righteous indignation is ridiculous. |

AverageAmericanGuy: I'm not seeing the Sad tag fitting this. The Amusing tag seems like a good match. Her righteous indignation is ridiculous. I think she has a right to be upset. Someone letting their dog run around town killed one of her pets/props. She's not calling for the dog to be put down, she's handeling it quite well. She's placing blame where it belongs. |

StreetlightInTheGhetto: Gonna hug my bunny now, but come on, lady: The mastiff that strayed into her garden had been caught previously at the home trying to break into the cage. /facepalm She wasn't allowed to do anything about it until the mastiff succeeded. Zoning ordinances don't allow house rabbits, and even mandate that outdoor rabbit hutches must have an open mesh screen bottom elevated at least three feet off the ground, which any determined dog can easily tear open, no matter what the rest of the hutch is made of. /moral of this story: don't own rabbits as pets, or even as work animals, in Australia //locals don't like them, except in the stew pot |

And it sure as hell is the dog owners' fault. The dog is just doing what it was evolved to do. It's the dog owner who failed in his responsibility to control his own animal who is 100% at fault here. |

AverageAmericanGuy: I'm not seeing the Sad tag fitting this. The Amusing tag seems like a good match. Her righteous indignation is ridiculous. Don't find it amusing but I do agree with the bold portion. FTA:The mastiff that strayed into her garden had been caught previously at the home trying to break into the cage. If that had been my house, that dog would have been long dead. I kill stray animals that come on to my property and attack my own, no second chances. |

I'm an animal lover but God so help the creature that comes onto my property uninvited and attacks my babies. |

Since she caught this dog once before she should have taken steps to ensure the safety of her props. also, I'm very surprised that they didn't call it a pit bull. :) |

A dingo ate my bunny!!! |

But where did the stray dog come from? |
||
| doglover I heard squeaking and went into my garden to find a huge white mastiff shaking my guinea pig in its mouth. I love dogs, and I'm very much against animal cruelty. But when someone or something is eating your pets raw, I don't really see any harm in putting that creature down. |

I'm an animal lover but God so help the creature that comes onto my property uninvited and attacks my babies. Yeah, I'm very protective of my animals. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs that are about cat sized. All of them were rescued from awful situations. I am not about to let some stray animal harass them let alone attack them. |

dachshund ![]() Mastiff ![]() Did I mention that I am a sane, compassionate person who could easily determine that a dachshund does not need to be killed to control the situation. Plus, my cats could kill a dachshund. However I do hope Mircea Volosen dies on fire, what a depraved biatch. |

Tatterdemalian After reading through the whole thing, it seems as if he was not prosecuted for the actions he took against the black lab (another breed which should be relatively easy to control without death being an option). FTA; Colleyville police Detective Doug Huseman said Volosen had a right to protect his animals in September. But he had no dead or injured animals after the latest incident, Huseman said. The Labrador's owner, Pati Coplon, said the behavior that Volosen described sounded uncharacteristic of her 6-year-old dog, Coty. "At the time, it just really devastated us because our hands were tied," she said. "We couldn't prove this was wrong." It seems that if your animals are in danger you are within your rights to kill the dog. It's just hard to prove that a dachshund is a danger to your animals and needs to be killed. IMHO the lab was probably fine too. I wouldn't be surprised (from what I know of the breed) if it was a fox that did the damage and the lab was wrong place wrong time. |

Apparently you don't know that dachsunds were bred to hunt and kill badgers, and become highly aggressive in pursuit of any prey, whether badger, chicken, or even rabbit. /also you don't know if the situation could have been controlled any better once the dog was not only on the property but had forced its way into the coop and was pursuing the chickens, since you weren't there //claiming it could have been a fox when the animal actually caught in the act of killing the chickens was a lab, however, shows you don't care about educating yourself and only want to proclaim your self-righteousness, so good day sir |

I used your link to prove you wrong. I then gave an opinion about the Lab story. That a dachshund can hunt badger is meaningless to a 230lb human. I could have removed the dachshund without killing it. |

For the record, Tatterdemalian, when someone starts a statement with "I wouldn't be surprised if", they are usually not saying something didn't happen. They are saying they could easily believe another story about what happened. |

so was it a bunny or a guinea pig? |

cmdrpiffle: so was it a bunny or a guinea pig? Poor writing. It seems as if the rabbit was laying there already dead and the guinea pig was in the process of being eaten when the home owner came out..... FTA:"I heard squeaking and went into my garden to find a huge white mastiff shaking my guinea pig in its mouth. "My one-year-old bunny rabbit was lying, already dead, on the grass next to the dog. |

Plus, my cats could kill a dachshund. However I do hope Mircea Volosen dies on fire, what a depraved biatch. A determined dachshund probably would need to be killed. Whoever said they were furry alligators was right on the mark. They're tiny, but they're all mouth, with lots of sharp pointy teeth, and they love to use them on anything they feel needs to be bit. Anyway, this reminds me of this magic trick I saw once. This clown (literally, the tard was dressed like a clown, WTF) walks into my manager's meeting and he starts going on about this and that and then he makes a pencil disappear. The dumbass didn't even make it disappear, you could still see it hanging out of my ex-partner's eye socket. Worst clown ever, man. |

The dumbass didn't even make it disappear, you could still see it hanging out of my ex-partner's eye socket. Worst clown ever, man. Heh. Mine, admittedly was a big pussy, never bit anyone. Honestly the first thing I'd try to do with a rampaging dachshund, is try to get a trash can on top of it. Then I'd sit on the can till someone came and got the beast. At heart, I'm just like my dachshund was, a big pussy that would rather not kill anything, makes a ton of noise and constantly farks with people. All that aside, I don't have much experience with clowns but clown porn is some of the saddest shiat I've ever seen. I assume random eye stabbings could make it more watchable, not like it was fap material in the first place. |
