If the bear had just showed up during regular hours and entered via automatic door, she would have found a variety of hefty prey. Mostly slow and a lot easier to catch than a deer. Kinda surprised this hasn't occurred to them sooner.

The mall restrooms there sell glowsticks in the little condom/tylenol vending machines. Weird as hell.

Thank yew. It was that or the new "Repeat" tag, followed by "ing, bears, Pittsburg Hills Mall". I chose this longer one. Not sure of the tag protocols.

Bears repeating...

One evening I found a headless woodchuck carcass behind the Phamwaa domain.

Next evening it was gone, replaced by a lump of bear shiat. It's too dry for anything to leave tracks on the ground, but expert huntsman next door swears that's what it is.

I don't think I'll leave the dog out too long in the evening.

Bears repeating...

They're bears, and they're doing something, but I don't think it's repeating.

I live near that general area, and we've seen bears multiple times when I haven't seen even one in the previous 18 years that I've lived there.

Obviously we need to nuke everything.
