What a relief, I thought it was another mass shooting. |

Doesn't that bear know Olive Garden is crap? Must not be a foodie. If the bear had just showed up during regular hours and entered via automatic door, she would have found a variety of hefty prey. Mostly slow and a lot easier to catch than a deer. Kinda surprised this hasn't occurred to them sooner. |

The mall restrooms there sell glowsticks in the little condom/tylenol vending machines. Weird as hell. |

Also +1 on the headline, submitter. Short and sweet. |

"this is from the first bear" 'Officials say the bear was wearing a tracking collar, but they couldn't determine where it came from. ' Silly officials... check the Pittsburgh zoo. http://www.pittsburghzoo.org/. |

Glad they didn't kill it. I'd never sacrifice the life of an animal if it attacked an American I'd give it a treat. |

| Gyrfalcon neversubmit: What a relief, I thought it was another mass shooting. It will when bears learn to bear arms. |

First bear wanted to look at toys and was small... the second was a bigger and looking for food. |

Definitely NOT bear country, I've never heard of them being spotted in the area before. /also, awesome headline subby! Thank yew. It was that or the new "Repeat" tag, followed by "ing, bears, Pittsburg Hills Mall". I chose this longer one. Not sure of the tag protocols. |

Bears repeating... |
||
| phamwaa
One evening I found a headless woodchuck carcass behind the Phamwaa domain. Next evening it was gone, replaced by a lump of bear shiat. It's too dry for anything to leave tracks on the ground, but expert huntsman next door swears that's what it is. I don't think I'll leave the dog out too long in the evening. |

FTA: "Police hope to identify the larger bear's path once it is captured." What are they going to do? Show it Google maps and ask it for walking directions? |

Thank god. From the headline I thought this was a story about some bears with really horrid flatulence. |

I live near that general area, and we've seen bears multiple times when I haven't seen even one in the previous 18 years that I've lived there. Obviously we need to nuke everything. |
