This is equivalent to me trading in my XBox for an XBox 360 at Game stop.

I've always wanted a sleek, but I won't pay $20 million for one.

Don't be silly. None of them are losing money on the deal. They just write it off as a business expense and push the loss onto the taxpayers. Rich people never lose money.

Personally, I long for the days when aviation was a gentleman's pursuit. Before any Joe Sweatsock could wedge himself behind a lunch tray and jet off to Raleigh-Durham.

There is no G5 anymore nor a G6. It is G550 and G650. Not as glamorous sounding but thy are incredibly nice jets. I love the windows. If you have your own jet, why settle for airliner windows?

Anywhere from about 5 Mill on up. Here is one for about 6 Link

Nice thing about the X is that you will normally beat anything non military to where you need to go. If you want comfort though the large Challengers or a BBJ (if you are real rich) is the way to go. There are also some private 767 and I know that someone is buying an A380 as a private plane.

next we will be hearing how the leftovers were stored in a refrigerator and reheated in a microwave. Refrigerators and microwaves, the 1% are so out of touch with the common man.

If you're going to buy an airliner as your personal jet, you can buy an used MD-80 for about 6M and have it outfitted however you want. I just like MD-80s though.

Thanks for the link. The Citation X is my favorite because of its speed. It's always fun to fantasize about things you could never hope to buy. Incidentally, does anyone know what the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots are?

They are sums of money you can win by playing a game of chance, but that's not important right now.

Here in LexVegas at Fark International Airport a couple of times a year the guys from the United Arab Emirates roll in with one of their two 747 shorts. While usually only one of them comes, a couple of times both have been here at the same time.

Just let that sink in for a moment.

Just 20 million.
Just 20 million.
Just 20 million.
Just 20 million.

We should just all hop in the Jag, roll on down to the Bank of America, and have them cut us a cashier's check for it, then? That's just pocket change from laundry day.
