| Gulper Eel Does this earn her just a golf clap from the Congressional That's Racist Caucus, or do they give her a full standing ovation like Frigidaire Bill Jefferson got? |

| MacEnvy Gulper Eel: Does this earn her just a golf clap from the Congressional That's Racist Caucus, or do they give her a full standing ovation like Frigidaire Bill Jefferson got? You can always tell the racists by the people who are the first to bring up race when it has zero bearing on the discussion.. This includes a few members of the CBC, as well as you, here in this thread. |

But if you'd care to elaborate, we will enjoy you white-knighting...er, so to speak...one of the most corrupt members of Congress. And it was Richardson herself who played the race card when this investigation came to light. When the ethics committee launched the investigation last fall, Richardson accused it of "unjustly" focusing on some members and suggested she was the target because of her race and sex. Please get a broom and sweep up the remains of your talking point. The only question now is when Richardson will double down on the race card in the Democratic primary contest she's in. |

| MacEnvy Gulper Eel: Please get a broom and sweep up the remains of your talking point. I don't give a fark, I'm just saying you're a racist. And you sound a little too defensive to me. |

| EyeballKid And the war criminal relaxing in Texas is a indication of just how much respect we have for the rule of law here.* * Unless, of course, you're a Democratic politician. Then, you must be held to a standard higher than that of a Franciscan monk, for we all know Democrats are evil libby lib-libs who want to overthrow the nation for Kruschev, and Republicans only break the law because they love America so much, so let's just chalk it up to "Boys will be boys." |

Her staff is pretty stupid not to willingly work on the campaign. Do they not realize that if she loses, they're all out of a job? |

That is definitely a no-no. Some of Scott Walker's former aides are being convicted for this. There should be an investigation. |

| Gulper Eel thornhill: Her staff is pretty stupid not to willingly work on the campaign. Do they not realize that if she loses, they're all out of a job? They have an entire state party establishment to work with. They'll be fine. Besides, the winner of the Democratic primary wins that seat - and the state party is not stupid. They saw to it that Richardson would be in a primary with a Democratic representative who has the virtue of not being a complete sleaze. |

She lost by 20 points in June and she will lose by about that much in November against Janice Hahn. |

House Ethics is a sick joke, when the House does nearly nothing but propose new restrictions on women every day. |

is this like when Bushco was holding campaign strategy meetings with Rove doing slideshows and stuff in the govt buildings on govt time? or using the email system to do campaign business? (remember when it "ate" all those millions of emails?) or when they got the DoJ to fire all those US attorneys who wouldn't press bogus charges against their opponents just before an election? or when they got caught phone jamming and coordinating it through the white house? |

This just happened and that was years ago and entirely unrelated. |

No, this is completely different. See, in those cases, they were measures of last resort taken by brave Republican patriots in their quest to save the nation. In this case, it was done by a Democrat infidel seeking to destroy America. |
