It was really obvious that the network wanted the show to be another "The Office" from the get go. The first season really reflects that. They found their footing from the second season on IMO when Adam Scott and Rob Lowe came on and they found what to do with Chris Pratt. Any time you get Nick and Megan on the screen at the same time is magic.
