Best. Morning News. Ever. Unfortunately, it looks like we're going to have to chase the Dolans and their henchmen out of Cleveland with torches and pitchforks. |

My Governor's family owns the Cleveland Browns. Or, the Browns are now owned by Pilot gas stations. |

Paging CavalierEternal, please pick up the white courtesy pho-... oh damn, you got here fast. |

| The Bestest Well, that list Forbes published a couple of weeks ago wasn't terribly far off. |

Sadness is expensive, apparently. |

I just hope the sale doesn't mean a hike in ticket prices. I've almost got the $350 saved up for season tickets. |
||
| Gosling
Money that will promptly go to propping up Aston Villa. |

As a fan of the Premiership, I'm wondering if Lerner's going to put some of that money towards making Aston Villa respectable again. |

He played on General Neyland's 1951 National Championship team (with my uncle). The Vols' practice field is "Haslam Field." He also paid for a huge chunk of my alma mater, the Webb School. He is an incredible philanthropist in East TN. He will spend the $ to get the Browns what they need. |

CavalierEternal: Oh, and since we're talking about Mike Polk videos, here's his great Pittsburgh Steelers rant. This one is my favorite. Especially that part about Cleveland-Area Pittsburgh fans. Also, one of my favorite lines ever: "So as usual I will be defying logic tonight and rooting for the Cleveland Browns... because I am an idiot. And if my team can't have success, I want your team to have failure." |

| Magorn Wow. Do the Browns own thier own stadium? Last I heard the Cowboys and Skins were considered the NFL's most valuable franchises precisely because they do own theirs and the pricetags I've seen thrown around for either team is right around $1 billion/ So this is the kind of sale that resets the market it seems |

| Nana's Vibrator And now, introducing...your new...Los Angeles Browns!!!! I keed, I keed. But you have until 2014 to knock the Steelers and Ravens down a peg or two. Ready...GO! |

Eh good for the browns... Could be your year. As a bengals fan I'm getting ready for the disappointing season that follows a playoff year.. /we'll still beat the brownies |

| TheManofPA CavalierEternal: I just hope the sale doesn't mean a hike in ticket prices. I've almost got the $350 saved up for season tickets. I'm debating getting two of the ultra-cheap seats (in the corners). 190 bucks for season tickets with no PSL. Mind you, I'm thinking that I'll wait until after the preseason and try to get them for 152 bucks for the full regular season. Hopefully they won't sell out. |

The Steelers have an aged defense, no premiere running back, a star wideout who they can't afford to get to training camp and a QB with a torn rotator cuff. I think they may have knocked themselves down a peg already. |

I was a browns fan until they fired the Mangini and hired that loser Holmgren. Hopefully he will be out on his but soon and we can start having something to look forward to again. |

The City of Cleveland does. The Browns simply pay 'rent' to use the facility...which is so ridiculously cheap they're better off playing there for free. This is also why the naming rights to the Stadium have not, and will not be sold... |

Tango_down: Eh good for the browns... Could be your year. As a bengals fan I'm getting ready for the disappointing season that follows a playoff year.. /we'll still beat the brownies In a normal year, we split the season series with the Bengals regardless of how great or sh*tty either team happens to be that given year (last year was not a normal year). This season is going to be interesting. We're going to be significant underdogs in at least 12 of our 16 games, but nobody knows how well the team will perform since most of our key positions are filled with rookies or 2nd year players. Word out of camp so far is that Josh Gordon, the receiver we got in the supplemental draft, is an absolute freak of nature, Brandon Weeden can actually complete a pass longer than 8 yards and Trent Richardson is Trent Richardson, so there's hope. |

Los Angeles Rams. London Jaguars. Toronto Bills. St Louis NewNames. Cleveland will keep the Browns records and name, but be teamless. The 2020s will be an interesting decade for the NFL |

Once the sale is complete, Holmgren is almost guaranteed to be replaced by Haslam's guy, Joe Banner, who was the Eagles team president from, I believe, 2000-2011. |

The 2020s will be an interesting decade for the NFL Except for the part where the team's lease with the city doesn't expire until 2029 and, well, God help the man who tries to take this team away from these fans again. Remember the scene in "The Dark Knight" where The Joker gets the entire city of Gotham to hunt down and try to kill the one news anchor? It'd be like that, but with more cursing and Polish sausage. Also, we wouldn't fail. |

My only question is does this affect Trent Richardson's fantasy value |

Two winning seasons since the return. One playoff appearance. Zero playoff ins. And we still sell the place out and buy the merch. Yep, a sure sign of 0/10 trolling is mentioning the Browns moving again. |

After that, Shurmur and co. will be shown the door for some big-name coordinator who's the next Paul Brown. Then, Branden Weeden will be the suckiest QB that ever sucked, and we'll try a stopgap QB (My guess is Tavaris Jackson) before we draft another 1st Rounder...but before we do, a 3rd Rounder gets really hot and we get excited that he might lead us somewhere...until he gets leveled with a concussion and is soon discarded as the suckiest QB that ever sucked, so we can make way for said 1st Rounder. He'll be heralded as the next Bernie, and the next season looks promising...and then the year after we go back to 4-12, Banner's out of a job, the next coach is shown the door for some big-name coordinator who's the next Paul Brown and that, 1st Rounder is the suckiest QB that ever sucked. ...and the cycle of losing will begin anew. |

| Adolf Oliver Nipples Congratulations to Browns fans. I know that Al Lerner did his best, but his son turned out to be a real bum and truthfully, I want the Browns to be good. As a Steelers fan, I really missed that rivalry, and feeling sorry for Cleveland isn't the same as hating Cleveland. It would be nice to be able to have that feeling again, where I can watch a Browns game and despise them with the fire of a thousand suns rather than just chalking it up as an easy win. Here's to the future. With any luck you'll only have to endure another two or three 4-12 seasons before it turns around. Also, I can't wait to see what Mike Polk has to say about this. The guy is funny. Who wouldn't be if they were from Cleveland, though? There's just so much to make fun of. |
