| cmunic8r99 Bev Perdue is speaking at the Republican convention? |
||
| ManateeGag I thought McCain was a commie pinko for no going along with Bachmann's "Muslim Brotherhood" insanity. |
||
| FlashHarry no bush? no palin? is the GOP embarrassed by its stars? |
||
| Alphax
They going to get Zell Miller back again? That dude was scary, at least by the standards of 2004. |

What? Bane isn't going to speak? I thought he was anti-OWS! |
||
| HeartBurnKid
Two Face Well, of course Romney is speaking. He's the candidate, after all. |
||
| Paris1127 Satanic_Hamster: FlashHarry: no bush? no palin? is the GOP embarrassed by its stars? No Cheney either. Palin wants to come... But Cheney and both Bushes have said they are not attending. |

Dear god is there a juicy, wombat catapult, jerk-off session for Palin going on in the comments. |

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, the first female governors of their states, are among party leaders slated to address the gathering that begins Aug. 27. Martinez has the additional distinction of being the first female Hispanic governor in the country. Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the first black female to hold that job, is also scheduled to speak War on Women: Our Token Rebuttal lineup. |

FlashHarry: no palin? is the GOP embarrassed by its stars? They're afraid of strong conservatie women. |

Look, immigrant, hispanic, black!" |

DamnYankees: Love the comments. From the comments: If Palin is not speaking in prime time. I will not vote for Romney and I am a Florida voter. I couldn't agree more! I urge all Republicans to stay at home for the November election if Palin isn't given her rightful place at the convention. Heck, I might even vote for Nobama! Who's with me? |
||
| Cletus C.
A strong lineup of diverse speakers. Of course, they're all farking phonies because, well, you know. |

GOP - Our last two candidates were such failures we don't even acknowledge their existence. But trust us, third time's a charm! |
||
| rudemix
Quite a think tank they've assembled their. Love the inclusion of the female governors strictly because they're female. The party against giving any thing to anyone based on race or gender via affirmative action certainly don't mind picking what may not be the best candidate (Palin) based on gender. This party is so hypocritical, so lacking in morals, so devoid of any good that it is hard to not want to slap any of their sissified, self loathing, closeted, hateful constituents in their constantly tear stained, rat like faces. |
||
| GAT_00
So Rice and Martinez are both off the short list. |
||
| Citrate1007
"They are some of our party's brightest stars, who have governed and led effectively and admirably in their respective roles," This is sad, just pathetic really. |
||
| Philip Francis Queeg
There's a theory that the announced speakers are out of consideration for the VP slot. Think about what the remaining short list must look like. |
||
| Satanic_Hamster Paris1127: Satanic_Hamster: FlashHarry: no bush? no palin? is the GOP embarrassed by its stars? No Cheney either. Palin wants to come... But Cheney and both Bushes have said they are not attending. Easy to say that you're not attending something you're not invited or welcome at. :) |

Citrate1007: "They are some of our party's brightest stars, who have governed and led effectively and admirably in their respective roles," This is sad, just pathetic really. I haven't heard much about Governor Martinez; she can't be doing that badly, and by that I mean she's not Teatarded. What I've heard of Governor Haley doesn't speak well, and everyone's already aware of Ms. Rice's record. |
||
homelessdude ![]() Ann Romney has promoted her preference for as well. But the RNC balked at the hiring of a manure scooper and a caviar server as outlined in the contract rider that Ann submitted. Rumor has it Ann retorted "No caviar? Then no veep speech from Rafalca. It will be the country's loss. Bunch of godless sodomites." But that is just a rumor. |
||

GAT_00: So Rice and Martinez are both off the short list. No surprise considering both have insinuated that they would turn it down if offered. |
||
| HotWingConspiracy
Why would they invite Palin when there are so many women that are actually politically relevant? That clown show came to an unceremonious end already. |

Haley is a serious dumbass, and her own party isn't fond of her anymore. (though apparently the out of state GOP liked her enough for this) |

W Bush, Michael Steele, Palin, Romney, now Haley...? I think we call it Failing Upwards? The exception is McCain, who appears to be more liked in AZ than nationally. Didn't used to be the case - maybe we can push a poll to find out why. |
