| Because People in power are Stupid The resulting lawsuit will be settled out of court and in the future when you buy a GPS -you will have to sign (check) a small disclaimer. |
||
| Lord Jubjub The resulting lawsuit will be kicked out as frivolous and the GPS companies will make sure to differentiate between ER and medical centers. |

If it was that serious, why wait to call 911 until after you get lost? |

The ignited liquid then sprayed onto the man, police said. Somehow, I doubt it did that on its own. /hate it when I do that |

Given the current number of road and bridge repairs, these two guys were lucky they didn't drive off a road due to non-updated GPS. |

Should have called 911, moron. It's not like there are highly trained and skilled people equipped to stabilize and handle injuries like this. |

have someone from the family party who is local take you to the hospital next time. either your injury wasn't serious or your relatives don't give a damn about you if they won't drive you, who is from out of town, to the local hospital. |

That image is wrong, and I hope she is all right. And if she's not, then people need to pay with their lives as well if they did that her, and if they didn't, well, shoot, where the fark was the *stop-drop-n-roll-man?* That is all. |

Took my daughter to the ER under not-too-serious circumstances years ago. Someone at the hospital later asked - why u no call 911??? Because the ER was 6 miles away, and I had her in your door before the ambulance could have made it half-way to my house. |

Amos Quito: Took my daughter to the ER under not-too-serious circumstances years ago. I'm not a clever pony, but I'm pretty sure that second and third degree burns from gasoline immolation do not qualify as "not-too-serious" circumstances. There's something about shock and fluid loss, delayed burn injury, hypothermia, hypoxia and inhalation injury, and severe pain there. Amos Quito: Because the ER was 6 miles away, and I had her in your door before the ambulance could have made it half-way to my house. Which is great and all if you have a cut or a fever. Not so great if you're driving yourself during a heart attack, and kill two people on the way because of an arrythmia; or throwing your pulseless, not-breathing child into the car rather than starting immediate CPR. If you're asking why I present those two situations, it's because I've worked both cases. |

""Always call 911 for directions, not your GPS," Montgomery said." Cue the calls to 911 for directions to the pizza place, the night club, and the ballgame in 3...2...1... |

Ambulance rides are farking expensive. A couple years ago I cut my hand and was about a block from the ER (fire station was across the street). I was feeling faint and couldn't walk that far so I asked if someone could help me get there. They called 911 and the rescue crew from the fire station across the street came over and took me 1 block to the ER. A month later I got a bill for $850. |
