xanadian: That'll only cost you an extra $100 in the form of a ticket price hike. From what I've learned, more often than not you'll end up paying the difference with fees. Might as well get treated decently. |

It's selling Spam musubi, ramen noodles and other snacks through a new feature called the Pau Hana Snack Bar. |

All airplanes smell like stale farts. It doesn't matter if you serve wine and caviar or unidentifiable vomit, it will taste the same. |

| buzzcut73 xanadian: That'll only cost you an extra $100 in the form of a ticket price hike. Every time I've priced tickets to Hawaii (much less often than I did when I worked out there and beyond) Hawaiian has been right with everyone else on ticket prices, yet they do manage to give you something to eat along the way, even in the cheap seats. No food when you're jetting to Raleigh-Durham is one thing, but when you're going to be in the air for 5 hours at a minimum it is nice to have, and I bet will be something that makes people choose them over United when Hawaiian enters the NYC market (They may have started service already), especially if they make sure to market that perk for that 11 hour trip. /Loves HA |

| dbirchall I haven't flown Hawaiian in ages except between Honolulu and the other islands (no food - but it's only a 40 minute flight, tops) but I remember them having decent food 5 years ago. Buzzcut73, I think they started that New York service last month, but I might be off. |

Spam musubi - YUM!!! ![]() I'm not kidding. I live in Hawaii. We love that stuff. |

| DenisVengeance It's hard not to love Hawaiian Airlines. Their 1st class fares aren't too bad and they serve some decent food. Plus, everybody's happy on a flight to Hawaii. |

| dbirchall Atomic Spunk: Spam musubi - YUM!!! [farm5.static.flickr.com image 500x333] I'm not kidding. I live in Hawaii. We love that stuff. My wife is from... literally the other side of the world from Hawaii. My best man lived in Hawaii for a decade or so, and insisted that she try spam musubi. Whaddya know, she liked it. A few months later, she was visiting some friends from "the old country" who live in Honolulu, and tried to get them to try it. One described it as "edible" and the other (like me) refused to go near it. |

I love flying HA!! I'm still waiting for them to make service to Denver, |
