I'm looking at the positives right now. This problem, as minor as it is, was going to present itself at some point, so better it be now than a month or two from now when the games actually count. Plus, we've still got Montario Hardesty, who was a high second round pick a couple years back, who's now going to get a chance to work with the first team in the preseason and prove whether or not he can still be a serviceable back and take some of the load off of Richardson this season.

Couch was far better than he's given credit for, especially considering that he performed on the level that he did while spending most of his four years running for his life from defensive linemen with a broken hand and a bum shoulder.

I wouldn't say Richardson's missing 2-4 weeks of the preseason is a lesson on anything yet. When his knees start costing him actual meaningful playing time, then we can play the "I told you so" game.

What type of feeling do you have about the new owner? Was the old owner terrible? With Haden getting suspended and Richardsons knee surgery coming up I know its just more depression, but was the old owner really bad?

Wow, I didn't know about the conditions of the will. So this year is the 10th year then? Everyone expected this was coming? I heard the new owner is saying he will keep the team in Cleveland, and thats smart, because moving the team to LA would be a financial disaster. Cleveland at the very least has a dedicated fan base from way back to the time the NFL was just starting, and LA is notorious for not giving a shiat about the NFL.

A lot of times good drafting will get you fired if the coach is shiat. I know it's just his second year, but how is Shurmer doing as the HC? The 49ers team that won last year was built by Mike Nolan/Singletary and Scott McCloughan (the old 49ers GM), and it seems like Jim Harbaugh was the piece to put it all together.

As a hardcore fan, I could see the difference right away, and the 49ers were lucky they had such a strong team for a new coach. Shurmer seemed like a smart offensive mind, are you optomistic for his second year? It's really tough to compete with teams with great DC's like the Steelers and the Bengals, but iron sharpens iron. The NFC West actually has some awesome defenses, one of the main reasons I want to root for the Browns. Eventually each team in the division will have a shiat kicking D.

That is what I am after. I want to root for a team that is an underdog. I want to root for a team and watch every single game they play, read all their local beat writers reports about that game all week long, and watch the NFL shiat on them. I want to be a part of that, because when they do end up winning the big game, it will feel really good too be a fan of that team.

I know I won't ever come close to the dedication that you have for the team, the years you have already put in. The years your parents and grandparents have put in to this team. I know that. I want in now though, and I want to root when its hopeless, and one day, we can all cheer together when they finally make it.

The NFL is a great league, and football is an amazing game. I want to root for teams that I like, and I want them to do well, and I want to pay attention when they do really bad. I have been a 49ers fan since I can remember, so I can't root for any NFC team, but I want to pick an AFC team that I will root for just as hard, and that I know isn't a lock for the superbowl every year.
