| A good boss knows how to develop his employees, coaching them to bring out the best in their abilities, and peeing on their clothes when they don't perform up to expectations |

You know, I'm ok with the idea. I hired a lady a couple weeks ago and then sent her to a week of training and then started orienting her to the night shift. After the second night she just stopped showing up. No phone call. Hasn't returned my phone calls, even to say she isn't coming back. Because of this I've had to work two overnight shifts this week on top of my regular 45 daylight hours. I'd be ok with finding her house and peeing on it. Also, being salaried sucks. |

Was he marking his territory"? Similar to a General Manager where I worked last. This idiot issued memos - he expected his employees to arrive early, work through their lunch break and stay late. He canceled the traditional Christmas bonuses for workers,. Anyone who did not obey his edicts were put on his S*** list.. Overtime existed, overtime pay did not. This boss micromanaged but if things did not work out in his favour, would determine which employee was at fault. Unofficial Corporate mottos- "If it ain't broke, it ain't here", and "Make your best guess. Don't guess wrong and Management will second guess". This GM has been the defendant in lawsuits for his work environment skills |

A little whiz every now and then might be justified. |

Ed Finnerty: Shift_Left_Political: My former boss hit me, so I'm getting a kick, etc. Congratulations on the divorce. Thanks, but this wasn't about him. I worked for a youth-serving organization that shall remain nameless, except to say that it serves only males, and has recently affirmed its stance against gay men. My immediate supervisor (female) was a bully of the first order, and everyone knew it, and no one would do anything. And of course, it came down to my word against hers on the assault and battery issue. |

This GM has been the defendant in lawsuits for his work environment skills Peter Principle at work? Not in this case, the GM is an A*******. As an example, the Sales department had a National Sales Manager and a local one with salespeople working under them. The NSM would arrive and go into one of the saleswomen's office and try to chat her up. Not an occasional "Let's go to lunch" but using terms that were not open to misinterpretation. She complained to management and nothing was done. She started using a minitape recorder to save her thoughts during her work shift. One day, the NSM waltzed in and started his usual pickup lines. And it was saved on tape. It went to court and she won. Upon hearing abut the lawsuit, the GM ordered everyone to say the saleswoman was a flirt and the National Sales manager was a saint. The Local Sales manager refused to lie and was fired for telling the truth. The city, stations and names were omitted for legal reasons. The bozo of a boss is still around. |

6655321: He canceled the traditional Christmas bonuses for workers, ![]() That's pretty low, mister. If I had a rubber hose, I would beat you... |

| EnviroDude I thought the last guy I worked for was a jerk. We had to work OT and didnt get paid for it. He withheld our bonuses while he got his. He lied to job applicants about the positions they were applying for. He used the guy remodeling the office to remodel his home putting house expenses on the office bill, he wouldn't let us supplement our income via mileage reimbursements, he told us that safety mattered and then. Held safety meetings on Saturdays so he wouldn't lose productive time. I lasted 10 months. And within2 weeks after I quit,he fired the receptionist I recommended for hiring to get even with me. I gave a months notice and the only words we exchanged we're " hi" in the copy room - three times |

If the allegations are true, why isn't this guy in college football in a state just west of Manhattan. Not that state, the other one. |

That's about the only thing that hasn't been tried at my workplace. Good Lord I hope no one at work reads this. |

| Tell Me How My Blog Tastes FTFA: "In an attempt to distract the court from his wrongdoing, Mr. Sultan has responded with a baseless and personal attack on Mr. Terzi," said an attorney at the firm of Sills Cummis & Gross. That firm name pretty much says it all... I'm betting there are no real sweet, warm people involved in this case. |

A little whiz every now and then might be justified. I manage an assisted living facility for adults with intellectual disabilities. There are many days when I believe that the staff are more "special" than the residents. Except for the one resident who tried to get a knife out of the kitchen and stab me. |
