Compare the Iranian economy to the Israeli economy. Iran can't even pay its bills, so Ahmadinejad has to distract people with this.

Not going to say Ahmadinejad was right to say it like that, but he's right in what he said. Iran has centuries of documented advances in fields like medicine, writing, mathematics, and technology. Israel has centuries of waging war and being protected from the big scary countries that would obliterate it if it weren't for the United States. The only reason Israel is even still standing is because of numerous prophecies related to its importance in events that have been unfolding in the past few decades. These next few years are pivotal and I think Ahmadinejad is going to have an enormous role in the future of Israel.
