I like it. Like the kid brother, I'd hate it, but be too lazy to change it, short of ripping down the Beiber posters and shiat.

The revenge won't keep him from staying logged into Facebook long after he's done with the computer.

Apparently it's slang for Facebook rape, which is what it's called when someone messes with your Facebook.

I didn't know either.

At that age I would of just left it all up. Pink and purple walls are sweet.

"What the fark is this?" sounds the same in German and English?

I think it's Dutch, not German. Either way, was surprised to hear it sound exactly like English as well.

Cost of Facebook "hack" = $0
Cost of Revenge = Several hundred $ and numerous man hours

I'd say the little brother got the most bang for his buck.

There's a lot of times where I'll hear someone speaking on the phone in a foreign language, then they'll swap straight to English for an entire sentence before going right back into whatever they were speaking before.

On another note, I did get a chuckle when he points out that "It's really well done, too.."

So was this "frape" or "frape-frape".

I love that new word. Gonna use it at least once a day now.

Somewhat related: I recently discovered a Scottish cop show called "Taggart". After getting over the "Blazing Saddles" jokes that started playing in my head I started to watch it. Just your run of the mill police drama, nothing exciting. I was getting a kick out of the accents when suddenly in the middle of a normal English sounding conversation both people uttered dialogue in what appeared to be Klingon, or Esperanto or Welsh. I don't know.

Of course I knew it was English, but holy hell man!

It wasn't "frape" frape.

Gilligann: Do they all have marbles in their mouth?

I visited friends in Holland, and I discovered that if you ask anyone if they speak English, if they answer "a little", you can carry on a conversation with them. If they reply "yes", they will correct your English. And they'll be right.

Hmmm, well done but weak payoff. The video with that dude repeatedly cramming the remote control up his own ass was way more edge of your seat.

In Dutch: Wat de fuk is dit?

The "dit" sounds like our "it", and "is" sounds exactly like ours, too... pretty much the only difference is that "Wat de" is pronounced "Vat da", which is still extremely close to English.

Yeah, I guess I always figured that other languages would have their own words. Maybe English slang has become universal.

/Google translate says that the Dutch do not have their own term for 'What the fark', but they do have their own word for fark, 'neuken'. Germans on the other hand have Was zum Teufel, although the German word for fark is 'ficken'

The big hint for me was when the kid started saying "no". I didn't recognize it as any flavor of German.

/The next big hint was the .nl address referenced :D

When I did a three week exchange to Germany back in high school, my exchange partner and I discussed this a bit and he said that while they do have the verb "ficken", they usually prefer to say "F*rk You!" in English, as its sounds a more forceful and angry than the proper German "Fickst du!" or "Ficken Sie!". I think they will still use ficken in the sexual sense though.

/I've also heard some people from Eastern Europe respond when asked for the local variation that "F*ck" is an "international word"

You know your work is great when a guy who's seen the volume of your work enough times to quote most of it verbatim will still stop and devote nearly 6 minutes to watching something again for the gazillionth time.

Well done Pythons. Enjoy immortality.

Actually, all European languages derive from Latin, which is why it's still taught in some select English schools. If you're fluent in Latin, learning every other European language is easier than learning from scratch.

That was my experience as well when I went there.

mess with his facebook account again. Yes messing with facebook accounts is bad, and they should have a sandwhich together and end this silly juvenile act.
