this movie is a remake. how does it stack up to the original? I wanna run to you... ooo ooo ooo-o-o ooo I wanna run to you .. ooo ooo ooo-o-o ooo fk y'all, I liked her in The Bodyguard and Waiting to Exhale did better than Halle in Monster's Ball definitely better than Beyonce in.. well.. anything actually, did better than Vanessa Williams in Eraser and Janet Jackson in (insert movie here) - don't know how I feel about that count on me... through thick and thin.. a friendship i will never end.. when you are weak.. i will be strong.. helping you to carry on.. call on me i will be there... don't.. be .. a-fraid.. please believe me when i say count on... ... .... (yeah, I still have the soundtrack on CD) Whitney has some chops, shouldn't be bad. |

I always love when a movie comes out how the manipulate the media campaign is either showcasing the dead or, changes the poster design if a star hits it off later down the line. The design isn't bad yet it is noticeable via houston having a head shot pic in the middle. I wonder when the dvd comes out if it would be mostly plastered with her face. Kinda like the change of Half-baked when Chapelle hit it big. ![]() |

She's farking dead...of course they're going to say nice things and fall over themselves at how she was the voice of a generation, an inspiration to millions, stopped famine, cured AIDS and made the Dalia Lama say "Damn Girl!!!!!" It's all revisionist. It's like Alliyah. She died tragically in a place accident. The media was in the middle of a slow news cycle and they fell all over themselves about how tragic it was, she had so much ahead of her and how can we ever go on knowing what her potential and what we all could have been with her in our world... ...and then they flew a few planes into the Twin Towers and everyone good a good healthy dose of perspective on what's real and what doesn't amount to shiat in the world, like another dead pop singer. So, in short, no ones gives a shiat and no one should give a shiat. She's dead. End of story. There is no real relevance to it and you shouldn't glorify it any longer than you might possibly give for a terribly satisfying dump after Taco night. |

fusillade762: "Sparkle"? Is this a sequel to "Glitter"? No, but it is based on a bad 70s movie written by Joel Schumacher. |

She was talented and if she had tried she could have been a very good actress. Her death is a shame on many levels. Her life was a shame. |

Can't wait for her next movie! |
