When you have states requiring 100 hours of training for farking barbers, there may be a little bit of over regulation that is really just masking government revenue, because licenses are a money maker. Body Peircers (Infection, damage from screwing it up), Pest Control (Do you really want cletus running around shooting rats with a 22 or using DDT?), Product and home repair (Safety - I know someone who managed to wire their drier to the ground, could have been fatal), Private Detectives (Because they need to have professional standards and back ground checks), Pro Wrestlers (So they don't kill themselves or the person they are working with), Locksmiths (Background checks, think about it), Tour Guides (Avoid spreading misinformation, also so they don't take people on 12 hour bus trips in Arizona with insufficient water or anything stupid like that).
