FTA: "And now that Bode has become the "Perfect Game Baby," does this mean he'll be blessed with good luck for the rest of his life or will he be the kid who can't hit to save his life in tee-ball?"

Probably more liable to end up like the Home Alone kid except without that whole Mila Kunis thing goin on.

It almost makes up for his parents naming him "Bode" and raising him as a White Sox fan.

Wait, no, it doesn't.

I'd be more shocked if he'd seen the M's score more than 5 runs twice.

Yeah, a lot of people in Seattle have seen two perfect games, in all likelihood.

Hey, I saw the Mariners score 19 and 13 runs in consecutive games in the two games I've gone to.

/of course, that was in 1994

Back in 1981 my neighbor's dad took a group of us to see Lenny Barker pitch a PG. Turns out it was his 2nd, he was in attendance for the '54 Don Larson WS PG.

It can happen.

You mean 1956.

I wonder how many other people were at both games? Same stadium, same season, 5 months apart.

How many of them are a cute-ish baby whose dad is a fan of the White Sox? Those are the only ones the author could spin into a semi-interesting story.

Otherwise, as with most "stories", the headline could say it all "Season ticket holder goes to 60+ games, sees 2 perfect ones."
