He should honestly just leave the place and make a point to go there, then say "Keep booing, then remember that I'm going home to live the life of a world champion and gold medalist, while you'll still live Akron. BTW, congrats, now I'll be donating money to charities in my new home rather than this dump."

He probably can't hear the boos with his championship ring and gold medal in his ears.

I don't really see any reason to comment on coming back to his hometown or booing or being mean to the fans.....but a t-shirt with your own slogan and gray gym shorts with some godawful retro sneakers? Seriously?

You've probably got $200m or more. Throw on some nice jeans and a button down, at least.

The program aims to help third-graders succeed in school. Children were given new bikes, school uniforms and school supplies. The foundation has also donated computers for students to use in class and after school programs.

Oh man, what an asshole. BOOOOOOOO!!!

Nothing like ripping out the soul of an entire city and then returning to it to act as if nothing happened.

This. Yes, he acted like an unbelievably self-centered d-bag, but you need to move on eventually.

Yes, Akron, encourage Lebron to take his millions of dollars he gives to charity to another city. That's so much better than getting over the fact that your team sucks, Lebron has an ego, and that he left for a place where he had a chance to win.

Sorry, Akron looks worse than Lebron in this. Get over it, you d-bags.

That may be what you would do, but I don't think anyone with any self-respect would do that.

I think we've long beaten the "wow, 'The Decision' was a real f*cktarded thing to do" horse to death.

As for this, if Akron and the greater Cleveland area still want to look like overly provincial gasbags about the whole LeBron thing, that's fine. Just understand it's not a good "look" to us outsiders. At all.

He could accidentally drop a $20 bill on the sidewalk in Akron and it would qualify as an economic boom for the city.

Man, get over it, people. Aside from bad taste with the whole decision thing, WTF has he done? He stays out of trouble, gives a lot to charity (and still does in Akron, I'm pretty sure), says all the right things, is a good teammate, and is the most talented player in the game today.

The only things I can think of to make fun of him anymore are his obvious embarrassment about his hairline, and the dumb nerd/cool fashion that is all the rage these days.

Which is also dumb, since he doesn't wear headbands or cover it up off the court - he's just played with a headband since at least HS, and wearing it at an angle looks less stupid than wearing it straight across with a bunch of sixhead still above it.

/fun fact: Scottie Pippen was one of the first to wear glasses without lenses at press conferences because he felt it made him look smarter

Yet another thing we can blame on Kanye West.

"I was one of these kids," James said. "It means everything to me to be able to give back. I have a passion for it. I love seeing kids smile, and for them to have someone who can lead them. For me to be in this position and being able to help and give back, means a lot."

Yeah, what a dickhead!

Yes. Please refer to your Lebron James Family Foundation and stop being what is wrong with America. Frickin psychotic sports fans who can't tell a game and real life apart.

Well, there's the whole 35,000+ square foot mansion he built, and spends >$200,000 per year on - just for property taxes...
