As a New Yorker, I have to agree. Nobody wanted to crap on Rudy at the time, but he had a number of security failures in regards to 9/11. His expert advisers told him one thing, and he decided to go a different direction. His legacy was fine though, and he shouldn't have poked at it. He became a Republican shill, and now the rose-colored glasses are coming off.

I worked for a Wall Street firm (Weiss, Peck & Greer at 1 NY Plaza) for 5 years, and had dozens of friends/co-workers who lived and live on Staten Island. I haven't seen a one of them complain about Obama relating to Hurricane Sandy over social media.
