| Giuliani says Obama's response to Hurricane Sandy was "worse than Katrina", nothing at all like when Bush was president and shot down one of the airlines with his revolvers on 9/11 |

Katrina didn't respond to Hurricane Sandy at all. |

This is the same doofus who said that America had no terrorist attacks under Bush's watch. |
||
| FloydA He's got a good point. I like that song "Walking on Sunshine" far more than I like hurricane relief. |
||
| ManateeGag I didn't realize Obama did a flyover. what were all those pictures with Christie. a farking hologram? |

ManateeGag: I didn't realize Obama did a flyover. what were all those pictures with Christie. a farking hologram? They've been dating. Most of those pictures were taken during a lunch date at Bennigan's. |

| Marcus Aurelius Chris Christie begs to differ. |

| MrBallou We all knew the whargarbl would be wild and wooly today. It'll be a derp hurricane to make Sandy look like a spring shower. |
||
| PreMortem Giuliani has become no better that Rush, Hannity, and Coulter. A hack who gets paid to say whatever nonsense republitards with eat up. |

| vpb I think Bush shot down more than one airline by closing our airspace for so long. |
||
| I_C_Weener I imagine those on Staten Island agree with him. Doesn't make it so. But I bet they agree. |

| robsul82 What a partisan douchebag. |
||
| Diogenes Rudy could have left a decent legacy for himself if he had kept his mouth shut after leaving office. |
||
| dickfreckle He did such an awful job that his poll numbers went up. |
||
| I_Am_Weasel Don't be so quick to dismiss Rudy. The man knows his disasters. Obviously there was 9/11, then came Katrina, and next was his presidential run. |
||
| eraser8 Marcus Aurelius: Chris Christie begs to differ. That's precisely why Giuliani said what he said. The Republicans think it damaged their man to have the country -- and, especially Chris Christie -- approve of the job Obama is doing, so they have to create a counter narrative. Especially in Florida. So, the Romney campaign, I suspect, put Giuliani up to this. Why do you think he first made the comments at a Romney campaign office IN FLORIDA? And, of course, being the sleazy, worthless partisan that he is, he jumped at the chance. |

| Diogenes Yes, Rudy. Please tell us about poor handling of emergencies. You should know something about it through your own glaring failures at it. Chief among them, relocating the emergency response command center in the World Trade Center in 1997, even though your director of emergency management recommended that you not put it there because it had been a target in 1993. |

As a New Yorker, I have to agree. Nobody wanted to crap on Rudy at the time, but he had a number of security failures in regards to 9/11. His expert advisers told him one thing, and he decided to go a different direction. His legacy was fine though, and he shouldn't have poked at it. He became a Republican shill, and now the rose-colored glasses are coming off. |

I_C_Weener: I imagine those on Staten Island agree with him. Doesn't make it so. But I bet they agree. I worked for a Wall Street firm (Weiss, Peck & Greer at 1 NY Plaza) for 5 years, and had dozens of friends/co-workers who lived and live on Staten Island. I haven't seen a one of them complain about Obama relating to Hurricane Sandy over social media. /CSB //and yeah, your imagination sounds like a really sucky place. |

The northeast disagrees. |
||
| Sin_City_Superhero I like the way that the right portrays Obama as a man who is simultaneously completly ineffectual, AND single-handedly ruining the country. "Obama can't accomplish anything!" followed by "If we reelect Obama, he'll be able to ruin this nation!" |

CigaretteSmokingMan: People forget that on 9/10 Rudy was probably the most hated man in NYC. I don't He's just another of a long line of Italian-Americans who have insinuated themselves into politics for fun and profit. Corrupt as a can of maggots, and dirtier than Lohan's skivvies. Now, as far as his worth as a human being goes. . . I'd put him to the same test any real American would. Can he shovel shait and pull teat as good as any Messkin immigrant? Sure he can do both, metaphorically, but can he actually put the callouses on his hands? Of course not. He's never worked a day in his life. |

Giuliani once garnered some level of respect but ever since his joke of a campaign where his platform was only 9/11 he has become a joke of a derper on the same level as breitbart's rotting corpse. |

All Presidents get blamed for insufficient disaster relief after major natural disasters. Looks to me like Obama is going to get lucky though and the unfair blame will mostly occur after the election. |

crab66: I can't believe I ever liked this guy. He wasn't bad before the national office ambitions. He may have been a dimwit at times (most politicians are at some point), but he wasn't an idiotic a$$hole. He's so set on becoming, and staying, a national player now he'll do or say anything to get it. This statement isn't just about damage control. How much you want to bet that Rudy get's a cushy cabinet job if Romney wins? |

He's right. To him, Obama's response to Sandy was terrible. It made Democrats look good, and that's almost as bad as stealing forty cakes. |
||

Was it better than putting your OEM in the World Trade Center after the first attack in 1993, Rudy? |
