  • So my assumption has been that these two are kind of like the black Tim and Eric in that they're a duo, and have never done a funny thing in their lives?

  • Wow, that guy doing an Obama impression is a whole "all black people look the same" joke by itself.

  • Seeing as how I was playing Halo 4 and just threw on some pants at 6 am to go vote, that was kind of funny in the "hits home" kinda way.

Stupid work is interfering with my gaming now.

  • I want one of those "Obama translated" videos to be funny. Even one time.

  • No mention of Assassins Creed 3? Because that's the one I've been all about since it came out.

  • How much do they get paid for each Halo reference in that skit?

  • Meh.

That dialog was about as interesting as any of his speeches.

  • I May Be Crazy But...: Wow, that guy doing an Obama impression is a whole "all blackmulatto people look the same" joke by itself.

    FTFY

  • I'm taking my time enjoying Borderlands 2 still. I'll get to Halo 4 when I get to it.

You must mean Loiter Squad. Much more Tim & Eric in style and content.

Tim and Eric cured me of Adult Swim.

  • I just saw an attack ad that said Mitt Romney wants to repeal free Med Packs, and that Paul Ryan was a spawn camper...

  • I bet Mittens wishes he could put us on Yellow Alert today.

  • kiwimoogle84: No mention of Assassins Creed 3? Because that's the one I've been all about since it came out.

Just started it last night. The first hour so far is an absolute snooze fest, and I don't mean because it lacks action.

Tim and Eric cured me of Adult Swim.

Adult Swim is the balls. Except for whenever Tim and Eric are doing stuff.

  • Woohoo, that was funny! All those lazy black folks sitting around playing Halo 4 all the time.

  • AshCampbell: So my assumption has been that these two are kind of like the black Tim and Eric in that they're a duo, and have never done a funny thing in their lives?

They actually are really funny. Obama and Luther is just one of their weaker sketches. Their style is more vaudeville than anything. Check out "2 valets discussing Liam Neesons". Link

    i miss brak

A can of Mountain Dew Gamer Fuel and a small bag of delicious Doritos for every mention, as well as some free Double XP tokens.

Personally, the American Indian bit just seems wrong. It worked so perfectly being set in Italy. II is so very amazing.

    Yes, yes it was.

However, Tim and Eric give me a rash, and not unlike poison ivy it gets worse every time.
I was quickly conditioned to not tune in least I be exposed.

nevar! the problem is you don't even start as him. Its like reliving the Kingdom hearts 2 nightmare.

Yeah, the first two were perfect settings for the plot following the catholocism mysticism...cism. As well as climbing cool architecture.

I bought it and have played only a little so far. For some reason it reminds me of Dragons Lair though. I thought it would be cooler.

  • While that was not funny, dude does a good Obama impression.

He started a punk band and he's too busy for TV anymore.

  • I thought that was Dave Lister at first.

  • I'll say it. I hated Tom Goes To The Mayor initially, and still kind of do, but watching it sort of grew on me. It's intentionally a trainwreck, but the joke is that it's almost more of a documentary of small town politics and lives than a parody. And for some reason the absurdity of the really short Tim and Eric live sketches worked somehow in conjunction with it. I universally despise the rest of their work without even that faint damning praise.

Collecting the tomb seals obstacle courses were the best part of 2.

/currently playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
    //It's FABLE ON CRACK
    /get it. Srsly.

  • I don't care, I think Key and Peele are hilarious. Wasn't their best segment, though. Much preferred the one right after the DNC or the reaction to the 47% take.

/...Though, sadly, the entusiasm of the 47% skit is now a little dated.

  • kiwimoogle84: No mention of Assassins Creed 3? Because that's the one I've been all about since it came out.

I've been waiting patiently for a fark thread about it since it came out.

  • Bluemookie: You must mean Loiter Squad. Much more Tim & Eric in style and content.

Eric Andre and Hannibal Burress are the black Tim & Eric.

Loiter Squad is the black, like, Andy Milonakis or some shiat.

Unrelated: I find it interesting that since Awesome Show Great Job ended, Tim Heidecker has released a CD, been on podcasts, been on movies, made guest appearances on other comedy shows, and Eric Wareheim has... directed some music videos and Old Spice ads?

  • kiwimoogle84: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

That game is addicting. So, so addicting.

It was almost painful when I won, then started a new game. I didn't have all the moves, so my character was twitching like an epileptic when I tried to make him attack in fancy ways.

I have spent more time, money, and lost more sleep, blacksmithing myself new weapons. Currently I'm a level 21 wielding a 102 fire/bleeding long sword. I kick all kinds of ass with it. Slices up mountain trolls in one hit.

  • So that's what a big bag of low hanging fruit looks like

Whichever one had Luther flipping out over the "magic underwear" was my favorite of the Weekly Addresses. This one wasn't good.

I am rocking the shiat out of Dishonored right now. Recently finished up Xcom:EU, Still have to finish up Borderlands 2 and RE6. Haven't even started on AC3, much less Halo 4. Maybe one day I will finish Skyrim, if new farking games stop coming out for a while.
I try to keep it at 4 games actively being played at the same (general) time.

  • I laughed my ass off at their East vs. West football game skit.

I started as a sneaky-backstabby character, so I almost never had to fight outright. Then I went to a mage, and raining fire down on my enemies has almost as much satisfaction as slicing through an entire camp like butter with nobody knowing what's happening. So I've never really worried about blacksmithing as much as I should have, since if I'm using them in a fight I've already messed up big.

/The next play through will be a big man with a hammer, so that'll require some serious adjustment.

Must suck to have a computer that can run Skyrim, huh?

  • Nope, Borderlands 2.

  • Never understood shooters on a console, so clunky and the graphics suck.

You don't understand graphics until you play on 2560x1600.

Connor is a pretty solid lead character and from what I've seen so far he's neither a cliche nor a caricature. His voice acting is better that Ezio's and he seems genuinely interested in the lives of his 'friends'. He's the best lead so far.

The environments really sell AC3 though, god damn if it isn't amazing to walk down the streets of colonial Boston in a light summer rain or to lead a sailing ship to battle during a storm in the north Atlantic.

I've always been a Melee fighter. Button mashing is my thang. I almost never upgraded my magic or mana, didn't use magic much in the Fables either.

I'll probably go Mage next play through, but lord knows I've got another 100 hrs of round 1.

  • Fark you guys. Tim and Eric are hilarious, but you have to wade through the bullshiat. So is Check it Out. John C. Reilly is a genius.
