Think of it as a feature, not a bug; that polling place probably doesn't have many crickets.

This one in Mass doesn't have a seaside though, you're thinking of the one in Delaware. It even has creatures with too many tentacles who want to eat you whether you like it or not!

Kind of cute, don't know if he would survive if I found him in my house, I have no problem with any critter outside, with the exception of rattlers, scorpions, centipeds or black widows, but if they intrude on 'my' space spiders better hide well.

WTF...if he's sitting on the TP, what do you use to squish him?

I guess running screaming from the bathroom is really the only option left at this point.

If I was sitting on the can and saw that on the paper next to me I would be out through the door without even bothering to pull up my pants.

Clock spider looks like a Huntsman. They are timid and non poisonous.

This however is the Sydney Funnel Web. It's very aggressive and capable of killing a healthy adult with one bite.

If I saw a spider that big in my house I'd shoot it with a load of 12 gauge 7 shot and repair the drywall after. nothing freaks me out more than large spiders. Last year a large spider marched into my garage while i was working on a project. Iook down and 100 baby spiders start jumping off her back and spreading out! Glad I had a can of mapp gas with a trigger and burned those bastards up.
