Honestly, of all those comments, the sandwich one seems like the easiest to act on.

I remember a guy gave me a pic of his dog and wanted me to find clip art to match the breed. Cause, you know, nobody would buy his services if it didn't match the breed of dog that rode with him on service calls. Despite his services having nothing to do with animals.

I had nothing to do so I decided to redraw exactly from his pic. It was pretty dead on. "Can you use a dog like mine? This kind of dog is kind of stupid looking." Well, do you want a tough dog or do you want your dog?

same idiotic things happen in voice-over work. I hated "can you make it "pop" a little more" and "can we get this done turn-key"
