It's more a religious war than a civil war, but about the same. Suni hates Shia. What a lot of people don't know is that Al Qaeda is now heavily involved with the Suni rebels, so if anyone arms the rebels, they arm Al Qaeda too.

Nice to see that What's-his-name, the old Iraqi Information Minister for Hussein, is still getting work.

What ever happened to Baghdad Bob? Is he rotting in a cell in Abu Ghraib or Gitmo?

Nope. He was never jailed.
He is now living a comfortable life in the United Arab Emirates with his family.

He acknowledged his troops are fighting a "tough war and a difficult war," adding that when foreign countries stop sending arms to rebels, "I can tell (you) that in weeks we can finish everything."

Translated: We can kill every damn one of them.

Wouldn't be the first time we armed Al Qaeda. May as well train them again for old times' sake.

FTA:Instead of civil war, Assad said, Syria is facing "terrorism through proxies," referring to foreign backing of the rebellion against his regime.

If anyone would know about terrorism through proxies, it would be the Syrians.

i bet he thought it was funny as shiat when he was sending Syrians into Iraq to kill Americans. Not so much fun now that it is happening to him.

And here we are again with the classic middle eastern arab shiathole dilemma: the secular murderous vile dictator or the religious murderous opposition ?

nice try, Subby.

1. Find your nearest wormhole
2. dial the Pegasus galaxy
3. BOOM....Atlantis.

Easy peasy. Next time, don't be so dramatic with your headline.

Alright, one more try. I have yet to get a rational answer out of a right-winger as to what, exactly, they think Obama is covering up. Care to enlighten me?

Muslim terrorists have been killing Americans since the Reagan administration...it's not exactly a secret.
