| Radak Finnish Underwater Ice Fishing Mystery Finally Solved Finally solved? It was instantly obvious what they were doing... when this video appeared last year. The bubbles give it away immediately. |

| Makh Radak: Finally solved? It was instantly obvious what they were doing... when this video appeared last year. The bubbles give it away immediately. Yeah, pretty much this. |

| I_Am_Weasel Very good, Robert Krulwich, you solved a big mystery and gave us the answer that everyone already knew. I wonder what it's like to get paid for being an idiot. |

Cool video. Quit being dicks. |

That was a cool movie to wake up to. |

| Fish in a Barrel
Some people needed this to be explained to them? |
||
| BlippityBleep
this is old? I'M ALWAYS THE LAST ONE TO FIND OUT ABOUT THESE THINGS! |

If it took anyone more than 1/10th of a second to figure out what was going on as soon as it was clear which direction the bubbles were flowing, then I have to say, that person is clearly not the highest wattage LED. |

| laulaja Didna see this when it first came out. As one who shares half-ancestry-nationality with those who committed this, I'd say they did it because they could. |

Great video but it would have been better with rebreathers. No bubbles. |

So I have the fish count at zero. Which is, in round numbers, how many fish I usually catch, as well. |

| Britney Spear's Speculum
i think this is a repeat from last year. Still cool though. |
||
| AJisaff yeah, it's a cool video... but really, who the heck would need it explained to them?? and.... he got the explanation part wrong... |

FTA: That's what the "surprise ending" meant to reveal, that the whole thing was a trick - but I didn't get it. Holy fark, you're retarded. |

I think the writer was being a little tongue-in-cheek. Maybe too subtle to catch, but my read was that he was basically saying the same thing everyone in this thread is saying: that it's fairly easy to figure out and there are silly people on the internet who didn't catch it right away. By pretending that there's some big mystery, he's calling attention to the fact that there shouldn't be, and he's goofing on the folks who didn't see it immediately. He probably should have used a sarcastrophe. |

SO HOW DID THEY GET THE FISH TO SWIM UPSIDE DOWN? |

| The Evil Home Brewer
Cool vid... The bubbles were a big problem for me while I watched it.... But knowing nothing about oxygen/nitrogen/??? mixes and the effect they have in cold water? Well..... Fooled me I guess. The bottle of whiskey I've nearly consumed probably didn't help either. +1 subby! |

I was going to make a snarky comment about how the Swedes had done this first, and then post the clip of the library scene from "Top Secret" but darned if I can find the clip on youtube. So you'll just have to imagine what it looked like. Or if you prefer you can move on to another submission and imagine what a butt naked drugged up Jenny Mc Looked like humping a tree. |

Radak: Finnish Underwater Ice Fishing Mystery Finally Solved Finally solved? It was instantly obvious what they were doing... when this video appeared last year. The bubbles give it away immediately. this. I didn't even watch the video. I saw the picture, realized what it was and moved on. |

Now this is really weird, and not a trick of photography.. http://www.cracked.com/article_19557 _the-5-most-mind-blowing-things- th at-can-be-found-underwater.html |

Penn and Teller get Killed (skip to 2:30) My first feature. The movie is unwatchable. The Evil Home Brewer: Cool vid... The bubbles were a big problem for me while I watched it.... But knowing nothing about oxygen/nitrogen/??? mixes and the effect they have in cold water? Well..... Fooled me I guess. The bottle of whiskey I've nearly consumed probably didn't help either. +1 subby! It could have been pure Oxygen but unlikely. Most probably just air. But either way the bubbles would not be effected by the cold. |

The one thing that would have messed up people... if they had used re-breathers instead of regular SCUBA gear... that would have been sweet. |

Never underestimate stupidity. /video super cool (would have been better with re-breathers as noted) //writer of "article" very stupid. |
