Ummm, yea, that's kind of the point.

We called it premedicating.

I used to pre-game socials with an entire bottle of cheap wine (Barefoot Moscato, mostly) then go to the social and have a great time. Wine drunk is a happy drunk for me and it makes me incredibly social. However, I mixed that with a shiatty week in my personal life (grandmother was in the hospital, thought she might be dying) and greek week (parties every night after the official events) and blacked out 4/5 nights, including the night before a major exam in my physics class, which I failed miserably because of a panic attack in the middle of the exam.

Long story short: drinking is fun. Don't use it to self-medicate though. That goes nowhere good, and fast.

Am I the only one who avoids alcohol when there is a chance of sexytimes?? I'm I the only whiskeydick in the world?

I don't really get whiskeydick, but I like to be fully present when having sexytimes. If I'm gonna have sexytimes I might as well have all my faculties so that I can fully enjoy it, y'know?

We would hold a pregame in our room and invite girls we were friends with from the sorority we were holding the party with. Socially lubricated and we would have an easy in for girls we wanted to talk to at the party. It just made for easier and less-awkward conversation. Really lead to a good time and more friendships too.

I have the opposite problem. I can't get off when I'm really drunk. So, mostly, I end up horny and frustrated.

Drinking before any social function makes me feel less awkward, but it makes everyone around me awkward when they are embarrassed for me. But f them what did they ever do for me. Those parties are boring anyways and the people suck. They are all just like my ex, they get all judgmental...is there a keg around here?

We used to pregame and or/carbar before every football game and we'd run back during halftime to keep the buzz going.

I mean, I went to Idaho. The only way you were gonna get through a football game and enjoy it was if you were wasted.

It's part of the reason I've never done coke. As a Maryland greek, this is kind of uncommon. We have, still do and probably always will love the cocaine around here.
