Well that seems pretty futile and pointless.

And a waste of potential delicious bacon.

Somebody wanted to taunt Muslims but all they could find was a political party with shared views?

Ugh. You're not helping, morons! You know what's going to happen, right? We'll have article after article on how GOP supporters harassed voters, threw away Democrat voter registrations, blocked UN election observers, stood outside polling places and demanded photo IDs, mailed letters to Democrats telling them to vote on Wednesday and the mouth-breathers on the right will say, "Oh yeah--well YOUR PEOPLE threw a dead pig in front of a GOP headquarters! You're just as bad!"

Did it have a backwards "B" scrawled on it?

My first thought as well.

Kinda like how Al Gore was outraged over how Florida was handling the election until it swung for Obama.

or not.

whatever.

A person at the Republican headquarters office told Patch Saturday afternoon that they were "unelated but not disturbed" by the incident.

That might be the most sensible thing a Republican has said in a decade

It would seem odd a dem did that since they won, but there are some sick farks out there. Could also be some psycho on the right that is pissed at the repubs because they lost and went batshiat insane. Either way the person seems a little unhinged to me.

We're not a third world banana republic. We can handle our own elections.

Maybe. But the GOP is doing their best to make us a banana republic.

I basically grew up around Manhattan Beach, and it's always been a fairly conservative area - lots of defense industry workers. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this was a far-right loon, rather than a Democrat.

Maybe it was originally supposed to be "hard-ass battle" and the writer automatically changed it to "hard ass-battle" because teh funnay and then was told that "ass" wasn't appropriate and so changed "ass" to "fought" without moving the hyphen back to where it needed to be in the non-ass context.

The End.

Romney's overwhelming popularity with the GOP base pretty much eliminates the possibility this wasn't done by a Democrat.

Yeah, with their crazy ideas about border control.

Never have understood why folks get so hung up on the "B" being backwards. Were I to do that as an attack, I'd scratch the letter in backwards as well, so that the person would be confronted by it every time they looked into a mirror. Be lacking foresight and just plain stupid to not do it backwards; there'd be no point to it.

Were the attack for real, of course.

I was thinking more about their agenda to concentrate all the wealth in the hands (and offshore accounts) of a tiny minority, eliminate workers' rights, deregulate banks and industries, subjugate women, eliminate public education and health care, and generally stand on their balconies and watch the rest of us scrabble for an existence.

Indeed! I sharpened a stick at both ends and lit the place on fire.

Now...where is Karl?

Sucks to his ass-mar. Now that his specs have proven worthless, he's only good for one thing - a stand-in for Beelzebub.

But seriously, I'm amazed it's taking so long for the Republican Tribe to assemble their hunting party. Maybe I'm reveling in schadenfreude too much, but I fully expect Rove to be relegated to complete irrelevance - even on Fox "News" - within the month.

Maybe because it says "I wasn't thrilled there was a pig head wrapped in barb wire at work today, but it's not unusual to see one."
