LesserEvil ![]() WTF is wrong with these people who use bath salts? He's wanted just for questioning apparently. Of course, when he was first raided for having a drug lab, he denied it and claimed the government of Belize was trying to squeeze him for money. Now we know he's been playing heavily with bath salts... and honestly, the leap to murder isn't that hard to imagine. I recently talked to a former spice/bath salts user who said it was the one thing he'd consider killing to get (thankfully, he's stepped away from it, and it's also no longer for sale here in this state). The psychosis induced by these synthetics is way worse then the psychosis "natural" psychotics experience. It's not treatable, for starters. McAfee is toast. Once he leaped off that cliff, he was done. Spending your millions to play mad scientist with bath salts?? That's so far off the deep end, I'd have a hard time believing he wasn't guilty of killing this guy. |

This dude is like the Colonal Colonel Kurtz of the software industry... He basically moved down there with his money, started doing crazy shiat, and every time a drug lord or politiion attacked him he would just hire them. I am sure this will disappear the same way. |

This is just his latest run-in with the law -- McAfee has been slowly turning into Walter White for some time. |

| SoCalChris I love McAffe's anti-virus. I can't tell you how much money I've made fixing computers that they've farked up. |

SoCalChris: I love McAffe's anti-virus. I can't tell you how much money I've made fixing computers that they've farked up. I did until I started working at a place that for some reason insists on it. Of course, whoever made that decision is several, several states away. If I didn't have to send sensitive information I'd just f--k it and install Avast. But instead I suppose I'll just bide my time until the fails pile up. In any case, HEADDESK. You know what, I take it back. For all the money I've gotten doing side jobs for relatives and their friends cleaning up after McAfee, it was not worth the |

"...went to the house of Mr. Faull to do her daily chores when she saw him laying inside of the hall motionless,..." This is very disturbing, especially considering the writer had already correctly used the word "lying" in the previous sentence: "...they saw 52 year old U.S National Mr. GREGORY VIANT FAULL... lying face up in a pool of blood with an apparent gunshot wound on the upper rear part of his head..." What is the world coming to? |

LesserEvil: I recently talked to a former spice/bath salts user "Spice" and bath salts are completely different drugs. I don't endorse either, but "Spice" is a synthetic cannibanoid that acts as a full agonist of the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the brain. "Bath salts" are a sort of hybrid methamphetamine/cocaine/opiate, which acts by releasing large amounts of seratonin and simultaneously preventing their reuptake. /The more you know |

| LesserEvil bwilson27: You're an idiot. Well, that was a well thought, reasoned response... for a psychotic synthetics user, I guess. Just one brief period of study seems to indicate the link between psychosis and synthetic cannabinoids There are also plenty of posts from former users about seizures, inability to reason, complete lack of 'normal' inhibitions, and violent behavior. Of course, these are FORMER users. The people I know that used this stuff wouldn't have admitted anything of the sort, and now are shocked by their own behavior (what they remember of it). Of course, there will always be morons who think it's perfectly harmless. |

Spice and Bath Salts come in varieties of synthetics, and they are all related. Both delivery systems and their associated synthetics are bad for you. It's far worse than the real stuff, and it doesn't even have the benefit of years of study. You won't find me posting how smoking marijuana is bad for you, but spice and bath salts? Two birds of a feather and both very nasty things. Just because some Farkers can still go down to the local gas station and by them "not for human consumption" doesn't make it right to use it, and certainly doesn't mean it's healthy for you. |

Meth turns on the faucet for serotonin and floods your brain with it. Coke doesn't turn the faucet on but plugs the sink, blocking the reuptake. Bath salts, plugs the sink AND turns on the faucet. |
