"Police did not seize the fork as evidence." Priceless! |

| Joelogon Norad: Long road traveled to make that joke, submitter. Perhaps, but there's a reason -- if you RTFA: A Westampton man faces assault and weapons charges after he allegedly pushed a co-worker to the ground, threatened to kill him and tried to stab him with a fork Sunday evening. Surjit Singh, 33, and the victim work at Tandoori Bite, an Indian restaurant on the first block of Witherspoon Street. The two began arguing and then started to fight, police said. /stubmitter |

| blatz514 He was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and released pending a court date. I thought you used box cutters to get that charge. |

I grew up near here, never had issues like this till these people showed up. Btw by these people I mean the people running this restaurant, in no ways am I implying these people as in the Indian people from India and their mighty fine 23 social cast system of importance and self worth. Would have expected better from the Princeton police though, "terroristic threats", really? that's stretching it. |

What I hate most about this is mentioning the restaurant. This place could have great food and it'll just be known as the place where the dude got stabbed with a fork. A local restaurant by my college had a cop killed in it. Totally random, totally safe neighborhood. Some guy just walked in, pulled the officer's weapon while the cop was ordering, killed him, and stole the cop's car. Now, lazy journalists don't realize that details like that plus the internet can totally kill a restaurant or lead to Yelp reviews by idiot jokers. |

Police said Singh knocked the victim over, said he would kill the man and then tried to use the fork as a weapon. The man shielded himself with his arms and suffered a slight laceration to his right hand, police said. ![]() You are a bad man! A very, very bad man! |

I've used that joke on a few people, but with Reese. "Hey, did you hear about that actress who stabbed her husband? Reese something.." It works on people who aren't all that celebrity aware but know the name. And, yes, I am a dork sometimes. |
