Death does not work that way - you exist until you don't - no peace to factor in, your consciousness simply no longer exists. Unless you are saying there is something peaceful about suicide?

The author needs to commit suicide too. Between nonsensical sentences and invented words, she's less than useless.

Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare sieze the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art.
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When the stars threw down their spears,
And watered heaven with their tears,
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

I personally always felt that there's a fine line between enjoying body modification/tattooing and just plain self-mutilation. It wasn't hard to see which side of the line this guy fell on. Sad.

That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

I try to find a way to make
all our little joys relate
without that ever-present hate
but now I know that it's too late, and...

I think the sentiment is that he no longer has to live with that emotional and mental pain or conflict.

That could be a contributing factor to mental instability and the root cause of death.

All of you who are making fun of him, enjoy the fact that you are sane and don't have a serious mental condition. Some of us have shiatty lives and we try to deal with them in whatever ways we can.

Didn't you hear, we finally figured out that pesky death thing. Upon discovery, most of us transcended to another plane of existence where we are beings of pure energy and one with creation.

You must not have got the memo. Its cool, I'm sure another bus to the next plane of existence will be along shortly.

Just kind of goes to show you that people into this extreme body modification aren't the most mentally stable people to begin with. No amount of needles or holes in your body will ever fill the void in your soul. Usually, people figure that out. Some of them, like this guy, never do.

Sad, sure. But you can't say you didn't see it coming.

Yeah, that's some terrible writing.

I re-read this about four times trying to figure out what noun "Native American" was describing. The I realized there wasn't one:

"...some knew him as the oddity who went by the name of his Native American, Stalking Cat,.."
