| Bashar and Asma's Infinite Playlist I'm really torn on whether the Petraeus biography, All In, is a more hilarious title than Jerry Sandusky's Touched. It's little things like this that make me life worth living. |

"Ghost writer" suggests that he anonymously wrote or rewrote the book. He's clearly credited. |

Bashar and Asma's Infinite Playlist: quatchi: I want Bebe Neuwirth to play PB in the inevitable bio-pic. /Just me? I want to see Chyna. *looks closer at pic, notes pipes* She does kinda look like she's on her way up to receive an award for winning an arm wrestling championship in that pic. Chyna would be acceptable as a body double for the nude scenes at the very least. Maybe shoot the whole thing with her and then Bebe's can just do the VO work. Just spitballin' here. Riffin'. |

| themeaningoflifeisnot There's one side view pic of her fivehead that makes her look like a Bene Gesserit mother. |

FishyFred: "Ghost writer" suggests that he anonymously wrote or rewrote the book. He's clearly credited. Yeah, but any time I see a book with one author's name featured prominently on the cover and then that less obvious "with someone less well-known," I always assume that "with" person really did all the work and the more prominently credited author is just taking the bulk of the credit for doing much less work. It's never the "with" person who's going on the book tours and getting all the attention, but they gotta be credited for some reason. The "with" guy did the heavy lifting; the other person is better at promoting the book and increasing sales. You never see the "with" person, so while technically not a ghost writer, they kinda may as well be. I know this is a sweeping generalization and I could very well be wrong, but this is the thought that crosses my mind whenever I see a book like this. |

From the WashingtonPost article by the ghostwriter: "I sat in my basement in Maryland and wrote what was virtually a real-time narrative fashioned from the torrent of e-mails, documents and interview transcripts Broadwell sent my way." So basically she just forwarded emails to him and he did all the writing. I think maybe the names on the book cover need to be reversed. |

After the Denver speech, where Paula divulged information that only someone like Petraeus would have given her, she took questions. One was "what do you want to do in the future, career wise...." She responded that she would like to be the WH National Security Advisor. You know, the position directly under the President. |

From an interview the writer gave the other night on TV, Broadwell basically sent him interview transcripts and email exchanges, and he wrote the book based on that, sent her the manuscript, and she editied it liberally to suit her tastes. He said she made it much more of a puff piece than he had originally written it with her revisions. |

Or do you believe that the woman who started a cat fight that ruined two men careers wouldn't tell a bunch of strangers lies to make herself seem more important. |

Aaactually if you are going by the numbers, you probably can't use much of the information the CIA puts out in public. Like 'we were never in Laos', just as an example. But here is the CIA denial just for the record. "The CIA denies this saying the CIA has not had detention authority since January 2009. That's when the President signed executive order 13491. The CIA claims any suggestion that the agency is still in the detention business is "uninformed and baseless." So they've got that going for them, which is nice... |

One good thing is, that the FBI easily picked up on Paula's emails that contained details of the Generals movements. And, you know, shouldn't be common knowledge. And we all know that no other country can hack into any of our computer systems. So, it's all good. Safe and Secure. Noooooo....cracks in our system. /nope |
