I remember a while back reading that based on high value targets and nuclear arsenal, Tierra del Fuego was the last place on Earth nuclear fallout would accumulate. So I'm heading there for the end of the world. Of course the target priorities may have changed, but whatever.

I'll be honest. If the real "end of the world" is coming, all I am really going to want is a place with a bar and a good view. I don't want to survive that. Just get me nice and numb before the 500 MPH burning winds strip the flesh from my bones and leave nothing but a shadow on the wall.

The Green Briar is pretty nice. Completely unassuming if you don't know what is below ground. I have family that lives very close, nice place to go for lunch

Taking cover in a bunker while the state/country around you is fused into glass doesn't sound like survival - more like death row without an easy way out. South Pacific/Atlantic seems a bit better. At least you can enjoy spectacular sunsets as the radioactive dust clouds approach.

We were going to be in Paris for December 21st this year but after hearing bullshiat we are just going to the mountains and took a trip to NY two weeks ago before the storm.

The mountain trip was my idea, since we have a stockspiled farm built into the side of a hill with a passage to cave. Screw all these well known places, they are the first place everyone will go.

Food for five years, a thousand gallons of gas, air filtration, water filtration, Geiger counter. Bomb shelter! Underground... God damn monsters.
