| Speaker2Animals LOL, subby. That's all we can do with the Browns now, laugh at them. Oh, and this woman's a douche of the first order. |
||
| basemetal Public shaming should be used more often, it's just that many people have no shame. |
||
| Walker She isn't ashamed and hasn't learned sh*t. Send her ass to jail. |

Stay tuned for next week when she's caught doing it again. |
||
| jayhawk88 Wow, was that a setup/sting? Because if not, that may be the first recorded instance of there actually being a cop around when you need one. |
||
| ZAZ People hurled commensts at the 32-year-old Hardin of Cleveland Tuesday morning including, "Why do you hate children?" I'd be tempted to shout back some reasons, but the judge would probably call it contempt. |
||
| skullkrusher this story never becomes not funny |
||
| TimonC346 vicioushobbit: Stay tuned for next week when she's caught doing it again. This woman shows such little remorse and defiance in the face of her crappy behavior--I'd be surprised if you were wrong. |
||
| blatz514 So you're saying she should be holding the sign while wearing a Browns jersey? |

A judge would never have to balls to attempt to impose a sentence like this on someone rich or "important". This lady sounds like an asshole and a douche but if she was an important asshole she wouldn't be out there. |

jayhawk88: Wow, was that a setup/sting? Because if not, that may be the first recorded instance of there actually being a cop around when you need one. She did it enough times previously with complaints from the bus driver that a cop decided to wait at that location and caught her in the act. |

FTA: She was joined for a time by a man wearing a sign saying, "If She's An Idiot, So Am I." Yes. Yes you are. |

This lady sounds like an asshole and a douche but if she was an important asshole she wouldn't be out there. I wouldn't be so sure... I think it likely that she was provided this 'choice' over serving something like a 30 day jail sentence or larger fine.... Its not unlike the option frequently given in courts for people to do highway cleanup, speaking engagements, (community service) in order to minimize their sentence. Has this choice been presented to a rich person, they simply would've refused and just paid the fine. |

![]() For shame. |

Good. It may not be Draconian, but forcing people to let the world know that their head is so far up their ass they can chew their own food twice is gonna take a whole lot of steam out of their "whatever" pose. |
||
| bunner
Speaking of which, is anybody else tired of people being walking bedpans and then copping their little pose and saying " Whuh EV ah"? It's like watching a four year old trying to act like a grownup. |

When was the last time you ever saw a rich and/or powerful person doing this as punishment? Yeah. This is dumb. Dumb all around. |
||
| KrispyKritter hiding behind big glasses and hoodie hat is big fail. she should have to show her guilty face and hold that sign up high. and does "so am i" guy think he's gonna get laid or something? throw her in jail, judge judy. |

jayhawk88: Wow, was that a setup/sting? Because if not, that may be the first recorded instance of there actually being a cop around when you need one. She did it several days in a row. Cops were informed and just had to wait for her to do it the next day. |
||
| LesserEvil Can we get all the idiots who park on the sidewalk in front of Walmart to receive the same kind of shaming? WTF is is with people who think they have special privileges to park in front of the entrances of Walmarts while Wifey runs in for an hour to do shopping? Even doing it just to pop in and do your RedBox rentals is asinine. Oddly, nobody does it at Target or KMart... |
||

Only thing about this story I don't like is how little time she actually had to spend holding the sign |

She did it enough times previously with complaints from the bus driver that a cop decided to wait at that location and caught her in the act. So she did it several times previously without incident? Oh man, it sure is important to wait behind a school bus, huh? Why is this even in the news? Constant updates on Fark? "If I have to wait behind school buses, then so does everyone else!" /That's just the way we do it here |

AssAsInAssassin: FTA: She was joined for a time by a man wearing a sign saying, "If She's An Idiot, So Am I." Yes. Yes you are. Seriously. They're both obviously idiots to everyone. Next time he should just wear his "I'm with stupid" shirt. |

| abhorrent1
She looks like she gives zero farks. Jail would have been better. |
||
| JohnnyApocalypse
Well there is always this hope: She may very well not give two shiats about her behavior, but she sure doesn't like standing on corners with signs. She'll at least look before driving on the sidewalk again. It may save a kid's life... |

We'll be all right if we can just get back on the expressway |

According to the local news here she got the maximum: $250 and 3 month suspended license. The judge tacked on the sign when the woman acted like . . . well, herself in court. |

| Delawheredad
Delaware was the last state to outlaw the whipping post. Sometimes repealing a law is the wrong decision. |
||
| Etchy333 Ok, defendant is dumb, but: The judge told WKYC-TV she felt Hardin wasn't sufficiently holding up the sign and was "missing the point." Hold up that sign with feeling! If the judge didn't want her to bring something distract herself, then she should have put that into her special creative sentence. Seriously, at this point does anyone seriously think that sentences like this are going to produce some sort of a catharsis in the criminal, wherein she falls to her knees and recognizes the folly of her ways? That's not justice, and public shaming does not do anything for society, other than make sure that certain segments of the population look down on other segments of the population, keeping the population entertained. She obviously should have been charged with reckless driving, and points on her license, etc. etc. But that wouldn't have been funny! |
||
| Mister Peejay jayhawk88: Wow, was that a setup/sting? Because if not, that may be the first recorded instance of there actually being a cop around when you need one. If it's who I think it is, the... person would cut around the school bus every morning. Kind of like the 5 O'Clock Charlie of the morning commute. /5 O'Clock Charlie was a pilot who would drop a bomb every day at 5 o'clock on M*A*S*H (hmm) /M*A*S*H was a TV show from the 70s and 80s that spent 12 years talking about a 3 year long war (hmm) /TV shows were the things people used to watch before they had DVD players |
||
| Etchy333 Mister Peejay: /TV shows were the things people used to watch before they had DVD players What if you weren't able to watch the show when the television station said it was going to be on? Would they just dictate to you when each show would be available? |

At least she wasn't suspended with pay... if I ever see one of those suspended with pay farkers on the street I'll make the suspension indefinite. |

Even doing it just to pop in and do your RedBox rentals is asinine. Oddly, nobody does it at Target or KMart... I always drop the wifey off, and drive to the back of the parking lot where I have a clean line of sight to the door. When I see her come out, I swoop in and pick her up. I do this at all the stores where I don't feel like going in and bugging her while she's checking out the clothes/jewelry/perfume. |
