no no no. As somebody with a fair amount of cat experience, I can tell you Hairietta is moderately unhappy and disapproving in the moment the picture was taken. Although with just one shot I can't tell if it's the kid or the photographer bothering the cat, or something else entirely. Maybe it just hasn't settled in yet.

I dunno to all you naysayers. Pet shop adoptions tend to be the ones that get rejected/abandoned. Article states shelter cat, which has a much higher forever home rate since the pet is a considered adoption rather than an impulse buy. Also, the cat is at the very youngest a young adult, again suggesting that the cat won't be abandoned once the cute has worn off.

Now must go feed my own furry boss lady or I won't have an elbow left!
