Damn loose gorillas... always smoking and drinking and watching R-Rated movies. They're destroying the morals of all simiankind!

That old gag.

It was amusing to be driving to work one morning and see "Beware of Ninjas" on one of those signs though.

The guy who set up Cadillac Ranch, Stanley Marsh, he had a whole lot of money to troll people with, he'd set up actual metal signs like those all around Amarillo, Texas.

ftfa: Firenzi said it took some technical skill and a keyboard for the prankster to change the message.

"It is rather difficult to get into them," said Firenzi. "There is some kind of electronic equipment that is needed to access the computerized system. There must be some pretty savvy people out there who were able to bypass all of that."

Ahahahahahano. It's frigging simple as heck, especially if the road crew is too lazy to change the default password.

Five bucks says the password to control the sign is written in Sharpie on the inside of the barely-locked box.

No bet.

Also, the systems aren't exactly modern... it's probably just an old LCD display with a keyboard underneath it, and all the instructions on how to program the board are somewhere inside the box.
