I have been practicing Christmas tunes since September....concert is in two weeks. I will be glad to get those ear worms out of my head! I do like the lights, and discovering what ornament Eli has absconded with....:) no tinsel...

I like the day well enough, it's the lead up that drives me crazy. After Thanksgiving I have to start making and freezing the ravioli.
Enough for people to eat and enough for people to take home. Unlike my Godfather I don't stay up all night Christmas Eve making it from scratch.

Oh well, the prep always sucks. Decorating is fun( I have lists of what goes where..I know..CDO).. But making the cookies, cooking the roast, Yorkshire pudding, which is not a make ahead item..and you never know if it will rise correctly. Bah!

I enjoy the party atmosphere. Fire in the fireplace, candles, laughter, etc. And what a compliment to you, that you have to make ravioli for people to take home! I am always happy when people leave the table and groan with the food they have eaten! :)

GAAHH!! I tried to download a pic 30 minutes ago, and my computer took a total DUMP on me...took forever to get it to re-boot. Guess I'll just stick to "verbal" for tonight!

Holy crap! It's Caturday!

Okay, so apparently photobucket or something doesn't like me today! @#$%^&&%^$!!!!! Figures, since I've had a crappy day, and just wanted to come play on Caturday. I had to get my mower hauled away to the shop because I can't get it started...and it's only 1 yr. old. Found out after work that a dear old friend of mine passed away today...*raising a beer for you Joannie!*, and now I can't post pics!! I like the "pout pic"....that's me........ :(( Major pout!!!

Sorry for your loss. And do not worry about the pics. When I exploded came into Caturday, I just talked. Had never put a picture up on a site...and now, ya'll still can't shut me up, :) and I have now figured out how to caption stuff! I may be a techno-derp, but at least I try! Heehee!
